✨💎 Had a super amazing time last week bedazzling books at @another.realm.studio—thank you to @lianevazdesigns and @sweetfolkstudio for putting on such a fun event and @christinenguyenneve for coming with me! 🥰 swipe to get a better look at all that sparkle 😉

I decided I wanted to do embellishments on a few books rather than a full cover so I did a longtime fave of mine: Vicious by @authorljshen, a newer fave: Deep End by @alihazelwood and one of fave mangas: Wind Breaker—I of course had to do the volume featuring my fave character, Umemiya 🥰

Now I just need to figure out how I’m going to display my ever-growing collection of bedazzled books. 😂

🍁✨ when the trip makes it out of the group chat 🥰

💖 A while ago, @christinenguyenneve and I had the idea to visit Québec City so that we could see some of the spots where one of our fave shows, Goblin, filmed and since we were hoping to go when the leaves were changing colour, we brought it up again a few months back…and ran with it. 😋

I can now confirm our Goblin pilgrimage girls’ trip was extremely successful! We went a couple of weeks ago and took photos at a bunch of the filming spots, had afternoon tea, wandered the city, and chilled back in our room to watch Nobody Wants This, play Disney Dreamlight Valley and read…it was a packed few days, but the vibes were immaculate. ✨✨✨ if you’ve been chatting about a bestie trip yourself, highly recommend taking it out of the chat 😘

✨ COVER REVEAL ✨

Happy cover reveal day to @lanafergusonwrites! 😘💖

UNDER LOCH & KEY | DECEMBER 3RD 2024

🐉 monster romance
✨ magic & mystery
🤺 enemies to lovers
🏚️ only one barn
🗣️ sarcasm as flirting
🔪 touch him and die

A woman discovers that not all monsters are her enemy—the opposite, in fact—in this new paranormal romance by Lana Ferguson, author of The Fake Mate.

Keyanna “Key” MacKay is used to secrets. Raised by a single father who never divulged his past, it’s only after his death that she finds herself thrust into the world he’d always refused to speak of. With just a childhood bedtime story about a monster that saved her father’s life and the name of her estranged grandmother to go off of, Key has no idea what she’ll find in Scotland. But repeating her father’s mistakes and being rescued by a gorgeous, angry Scotsman—who thinks she’s an idiot—is definitely the last thing she expects.

Lachlan Greer has his own secrets to keep, especially from the bonnie lass he pulls to safety from the slippery shore—a lass with captivating eyes and the last name he’s been taught not to trust. He’s looking for answers as well, and Key’s presence on the grounds they both now occupy presents a real problem. It’s even more troublesome when he gets a front row seat to the lukewarm welcome Key receives from her family; the strange powers she begins to develop; and the fierce determination she brings to every obstacle in her path. Things he shouldn’t care about, and someone he definitely doesn’t find wildly attractive.

When their secrets collide, it becomes clear that Lachlan could hold the answers Keyanna is after—and that she might also be the key to uncovering his. Up against time, mystery, and a centuries old curse, they’ll quickly discover that magic might not only be in fairy tales, and that love can be a real loch-mess.

Available for pre-order now!

#CoverReveal #UnderLochAndKey #LanaFerguson #RomCom #TBR #WantToRead #MonsterRomance #EnemiesToLovers A graphic showing the cover for Lana Ferguson’s upcoming book Under Loch and Key—the cover is illustrated and features a red-headed woman with her hand being kissed by a dark haired man in a kilt. They’re on the edge of a lake with one of the man’s feet submerged in the water. His shadow appears as the silhouette of a loch news monster. by @amburhostyn

💖 Had an absolute blast with my bestie @himoutorin at @helenahunting’s Southern Ontario signing yesterday!!!
.
Helena is one of our faves, so it was amazing to see her again, but it was also really neat to see her in a smaller, more intimate setting!
.
We were able to chat with other bookworms, Helena and her family, and Helena’s super helpful friends…and if that wasn’t enough of a treat, we were spoiled with lots of swag, delicious food, and were treated to a reading and a personal moment with Helena as she signed our books! 🥰
.
It was a wonderful event and I’m so glad that Christine and I were able to get tickets and go! It was amazing to see you @helenahunting—thank you and your whole crew for such a fantastic time!🥰💖

💙❄️ I was totally spoiled recently when I was sent this amazing package for one of my most anticipated 2023 books from one of my fave authors, @helenahunting! Thank you so much, Helena!
.
SHATTERED TRUTHS comes out in just a few days on August 28th and you won’t want to miss it! The kindle is all mine, but everything else was in this awesome package!😉
.
This book has been on my TBR since it was first announced and it was just as lovely and wonderful as I hoped it would be! I can already tell it’s going to be one of my top reads this year. 🥰
.
ICYMI, this series features characters from Helena’s Pucked and All In universe, where we get to see the next generation find love, too! BJ and Winter are the main characters in SHATTERED TRUTHS, and BJ happens to be the son of Lily and Randy from Pucked Over…and they’re my absolute fave Pucked couple so you can bet I was excited for this book and boy did it deliver! BJ and Winter were amazing, their chemistry was off-the-charts and their relationship was so, so lovely! I loved seeing all of the side characters and their friend group/found family was as lovely as always!
.
Highly recommend this book, the full series, and basically every single other book that Helena has ever written because her writing never disappoints! It will have you laughing, smiling, tearing up, swooning and feeling all the feels.💙
.
Who else has been counting the days until this book releases? And what are your most anticipated reads for the year?

It’s been a while since I dropped everything when a new book arrived, but my preorder of @zoraidasolo’s KISS THE GIRL arrived yesterday and I devoured it almost instantly!😍🧜🏼‍♀️
.
I’m a HUGE fan of The Little Mermaid, so I’ve been eagerly waiting for this reimagination and It was exactly what I was hoping for and even better than I imagined it could be! Ariel and Eric were amazing, their chemistry was off-the-charts, and I absolutely adored how the story unfolded and all of the fantastic side characters!
.
Definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me!
.
Highly recommend and I can’t wait until I have some friends who’ve read this one too so that we can talk all about it. 🥰💖

Now that the year is wrapping up, I wanted to share a round-up of my bullet journal cover pages for 2022! This year, I decided to use Bokuto from Haikyuu!! on each month’s cover page and I loved how it turned out. 🥰⭐️🦉🌏
.
I think my year opener, February, October, and December are my faves.
.
Which ones do you like best?
.
And who are some of your comfort characters?
