Earlier this month, we were proud to present a special Live Art Session with @keeganforbesart at @libertyplacesydney as part of National Reconciliation Week.

Across two days, audiences had the opportunity to experience Keegan’s intuitive practice in real time, as he created a new work grounded in connection to Country, memory and storytelling. The session offered a powerful insight into his process, with each gesture and layer reflecting a deeply personal and cultural narrative.

The resulting artwork, Baamagaaliyan, tells a story of revival, connection and guidance from Country. The piece was made available via silent auction, with funds raised supporting ACON’s Aboriginal Health Program and its work with Aboriginal communities. by @ambushgallery

A bold new mural by acclaimed Australian artist @bastianallfrey transforms @westfieldnorthlakes

Known for his meticulous technique and ability to create deeply site-responsive works, Bastian brings his signature style to this piece, drawing on native Australian flora to explore themes of growth, resilience, and interconnectedness. Featuring species such as Banksia, Wattle, and Box Gum, the artwork reflects both the surrounding landscape and the evolving identity of the North Lakes community.

With a practice grounded in craftsmanship, storytelling, and a strong connection to environment, Bastian’s work invites a moment of pause, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own relationship to place and the natural world.

Positioned within a key entryway of the centre, the mural introduces colour, depth, and narrative into the everyday experience, enhancing the journey through the space.

In celebration of NAIDOC Week, we partnered with @quayquartersydney to deliver a meaningful placemaking activation featuring the work of NAIDOC Artist of the Year, @waynequilliam

Guests were invited to select one of Quilliam’s striking photographic artworks and have it screen printed onto a tote bag thanks to @makemerchandise. The activation sparked conversations, connection, and reflection, a powerful reminder that placemaking is not just about transforming space, but about honouring the stories, people, and cultures that give those spaces life.
