Did you know August Wilson, the mastermind behind FENCES, was also a passionate poet? ✍️ In his twenties, he worked odd jobs while submitting poems and later helped create a vibrant arts community inspired by the Black Power Movement. 🎭

In 1978, his work at the Science Museum of Minnesota led to his first major play, JITNEY, launching his legendary career in theater. 🌟
