Oh Captain, my Captain. ❤️

He may not be here with us anymore, but he’s still in our hearts every single day.

Captain is a huge reason I do what I do. He’s the reason I care so much about helping pets and pet parents, so the animals we love can live longer, happier lives and their people can feel more confident taking care of them.

If you haven’t followed @pawmd.app or tried the app yet, take this as your sign. We built it to help pet parents feel like they’re doing everything they can for their pets and know what to do when something doesn’t seem right.

And if you ever have a pet question or something going on with your pet, reach out. I’m always happy to help however I can.

We’re also doing a giveaway for Captain’s birthday, so check out the giveaway post on @pawmd.app.

Happy birthday, Captain. Miss you every day. 💕🐾 by @ameerzing

3rd Annual 4th of July yacht Party 🇺🇸

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this year unforgettable. It wouldn’t have been the same without all of you.

I’m excited for what’s ahead, both personally and for PawMD. This is just the beginning.

See you next year. 🚤🎆

@pawmd.app on local news.

For Captain.

Over the last year and a half, I’ve been building PawMD, a pet care app designed to help pet owners make better decisions for their dogs and cats.

PawMD gives pet parents access to real veterinarians, prescriptions, personalized guidance, nutrition support, and help with everyday pet health questions.

Captain is the reason this started. In his honor, our mission is simple: help pets live better, healthier lives and help pet owners feel less confused when it comes to their care.

If you have a pet and haven’t downloaded PawMD yet, try us out on iOS or Google Play.

Use code PAWMD50 for a discounted annual plan for a limited time.

Captain changed my life forever.

Losing him showed me how hard it is to love something so much… and not know what to do when something’s wrong.

That’s why I built PawMD.

We just launched today — a smarter way to understand your pet’s health, get guidance when it matters, and feel a little less helpless in those moments.

Download PawMD on the App Store. Link in bio!

Stop the Google spiral. Start getting answers. 🛡️🐾︎

There is nothing worse than that feeling of helplessness when your pet is acting “off.” But most of the time, a routine illness shouldn’t require an Emergency Room price tag or a 3-hour wait in a stressful lobby.

I built PawMD to give you a “vet in your pocket.”

1️⃣ Scan the symptoms to stop the panic.
2️⃣ Chat with Pawla for 24/7 context.
3️⃣ Connect with a real vet for $60—not $200.

Better care shouldn’t cost a fortune.

We’re launching Monday! Be ready. Only the first 1,000 get access.

Follow now so you don’t miss it.

This is a really hard post to make, because now it’s real. Captain, my Captain, had to go to heaven earlier than I ever thought. The vet said his heart was just too big, and if you knew him, that makes perfect sense. Of course I’m heartbroken. But I’m also incredibly grateful. I got to love him, and be loved by him, every single day. We knew our time on this Earth would someday end, so we made sure every day counted. He’s lived more lives than most people. He traveled to every single state, marked his territory everywhere, including my heart. Thank you, Captain, for loving this world so deeply that everyone who met you felt it. If you’re reading this, don’t be sad just celebrate that you knew him. Share a memory. Send me a photo or video that makes you smile. Let’s keep his love moving.

I’m building him a beautiful memorial garden, knowing he will still share his blessing with the world.. even if we can’t see him here anymore.

I love you forever Captain. 💛💛 Until we meet again. taken in EARTH by @ameerzing
