my last dance competition.

even saying that doesn’t feel real. for the past 9 years, dance has been my everything. it has been a roller coaster between early mornings and late nights, the cha cha slide, and so many memories. i came to this studio my freshman year not knowing anyone and even though my dance journey isn’t over yet, this studio the hardest place i’ve ever had to leave.

thank you to every teacher who pushed me further than i thought i could go, especially ms. jen for dealing with me every solo practice for the past 4 years. thank you to every teammate who showed up with me day after day and made me feel like i belonged. thank you competition dance and @barbsdance for everything!! by @amelia.menting
