“Sun” 48” x 30” Oils and gold leaf on canvas 2021-2023 🌞 This painting was started August 8th 2021, Sunday at Sunrise. From there he was only worked on Sundays and while he was exalted in Aries. Before each painting session, I would invoke the energies of the Sun then burn the appropriate incense. Then while the smoke rose around the painting, I would sing the Orphic Hymn. I’ll go into more details and share more of my process throughout the week. If you’d like to learn about the Sun in your birth chart, you can book an astrology reading with me through my website. Print pre-orders also available on my website. (Link in bio) (Orphic hymn in comments) **Apparently I’m shadow banned now because of my Venus painting showing boobs, so if y’all could please help me by liking, engaging, but specifically sharing this post that’d be great* #orphichymn #picatrix #ceremonialmagic #talismanicart #astrologicalmagic #astromagic #hermeticart #alchemicalart #sunpainting #leostrength #templeofapollo #goldleafart #planetarymagick #solarmagick #hermeticarts by @ameliapasser

The Libra Incantation now streaming on all platforms⚖️ “Justice is what love looks like in public.” - Cornel West That statement is as Venusian as it gets. Venus is love. Venus is also justice. Her beauty is the embodied wisdom that love and justice are the same. Justice is the skeleton and viscera of love. Beauty is love’s flesh and flower… the fruit of true love, which is love rooted in justice. Libra, ruled by Venus, brings us the scale, balancing unconditional love which we are made of with the reality that relationships are conditional. Libra reminds us that love without justice isn’t love, it’s delusion at best and oppression at worst. And justice without love isn’t justice, it is just crime and punishment. For the past few months I’ve been navigating the worst injustice I’ve ever endured. In moments, I’ve struggled to hold this love/justice principle I’m preaching. But I’m holding to it evermore faithfully as it goes and I have that to be grateful for at least. Because… “Justice isn’t righteousness. Justice is right relationship. It’s the love we choose when we can no longer take this shit. When we’re pressed to make a fist… Love comes knockin, dressed as justice, to remind us what sacred is.” Maybe I’ll tell the story of this injustice one day. If I do, it will be what love looks like in public. by @ameliapasser
Tag your favorite Virgos! ♍️ The Virgo Incantation is now streaming on all platforms where audio art is a dime a dozen✨ Shoutout @adriennemareebrown a stunning example of Virgo beauty and brilliance, who introduced me to @octaviaebutler … both of whom were inspirations for this poem and both I pay homage to towards the end of the poem. And yes, that’s a @beyonce nod with “flawless”, also a Virgo. Embrace the fall beauties. You have to decompose to recompose 🥀 Vocal engineering by @__spru__ by @ameliapasser
Tag your favorite Leos 🦁❤️‍🔥 Life imitates art. And the trifling imitate artists. Flattering. Life is trifling for an artist on the path to stardom. Shooting stars have their brief moment… but they’re not really stars. Beautiful as they burn but their streak has no staying power. True stars emanate warmth for all, creating the conditions for life through alchemizing an endless stream of dense material. All that stuff the shooting stars couldn’t hold. Star stuff just the same. What’s a star to do, but shine on? The artist knows, no matter how big we get, our lives are little flashes in a pantheon. But we’re here for what we create, not what we acquire. We’re built like meteors but we’re stars in spirit. We little creators are part of creation, at the mercy and severity of forces greater than us. We’re the center of our solar system, but we belong to a greater cosmos. We’re the sun, but we’re not the only star… nor the only sun. We owe creation to all that created us. As we discover our star power, we see that we attract not just what we emanate… but all the projections and projectiles from our reflections and the preeminent debris we incarnated into. It’s a profoundly precarious responsibility… Prefiguring life around us with our creations. We can bend reality, but reality bends back. The art I want to give myself to invokes that deeper reality of who we are and how we’re made, beneath the witchery of manipulation and illusion. That’s the stardom I aspire to. Not imitating for transient fame, but emanating eternal flame. Many of us don’t get there in our lifetime. Following the terrible advice: fake it til you make it… We burn out trying to force it. Or we deny our power and avoid responsibility, staying small and dull. But at least, no matter what, we make for good material. That’s art. That’s life. We’ll all be stars, one way or another. And life generously constellates crucibles for our becoming… Even when it seems like she’s trying to snuff you out. But that’s the illusion. You’re being made. And you’re made of all of it. And it’s what you make of what you’re made of that will determine your shine. by @ameliapasser

‼️‼️JUNE 15, MONDAY 🌝 @rembrandtyard in Boulder 1301 Spruce ‼️‼️ One night only! Formal dress requested Early entry starts at 6:00pm GA at 7:30 Music performance by @zeastallingsmusic at 8:00 Tickets in bio ————— For the last five years, I have been making talismanic oil paintings, each one timed to a precise astrological election and painted only on the days that the planet rules. I believe that art and magic are one in the same, and I have spent the last six years merging the two worlds. The art of painting and the art of magic. Total there are eleven paintings. The Seven Basics are paintings of the classical planets. The Minor Arcana are paintings of the four elements. On June 15th, for one night only, in Boulder, all eleven will be in the same room for the first and only time before they are auctioned to whoever can hold them, all in order to raise money for me to go to University of Amsterdam for graduate school. If you are someone who believes that the act of making something can still be sacred, I would love for you to be there. by @ameliapasser
