It feels like forever since I last posted! I hope you are all well ✨

Unfortunately not too much to update on for the house due to a very busy summer schedule and no renovation work taking place. Lots of hosting family though which has been lovely - finally got to show off this beautiful second bedroom!

I must admit, I am really looking forward to autumn now! I will start to add some warmer tones into our colour palettes and autumnal scents.

Next job is the bathroom! We are going to be doing a semi-renovation, keeping our current sink, toilet and radiator bht upgrading the bath/shower and opening up the cupboard into a shelved / cabinet area instead.
I don’t know why but I am finding choosing a tile to be so hard! Anyone else had this issue before?
We have such lovely natural light in our bathroom but it tends to completely change the tile colours when we use samples - they end up very warm or pink toned.
I am thinking a really natural limestone tile with half of the wall painted simple white. Then we will put in a large wall mirror and some wooden shelving to bring some warmth.

Any tips on bathroom renovations or how to find the perfect tile would be greatly appreciated ✨ by @ameliarthome

SECOND BEDROOM|

Hello everyone! ✨

Sharing photos from our newly renovated second bedroom, still loving the green tones & shades we went for in this room, I find it so relaxing. The bed was definitely what made the room, we needed something with texture and it worked so well!

We plan to add a desk on the left next to the tree and some natural wood beam shelves above the TV but we just haven’t found any we love yet. Any suggestions on where to get some please?

I think next on the list will be the garage conversion… shall I share my vision board? ✨

SECOND BEDROOM REVEAL |

As promised… here is our renovation journey and reveal of our second bedroom!

With this room as our guest room, we wanted it to be light and refreshing - I must admit Jordan did have to convince me to use colour (original suggestion was Chelsea blue..). We went through a lot of tester pots but I am so happy with the shade we chose in the end. (I will find the exact dulux colour details to share).

I created a vision board for this room when we first moved in and I am happy to say it is even better than we had hoped! We put a lot of human hours into this room painting, most of it was done by hand as the panelling restricted our roller use.. it’s fair to say we nearly gave up but I am happy we didn’t.

I hope you enjoy! Any feedback is welcomed ✨

MAIN BEDROOM VIDEO

As promised I have filmed a cosy bedroom video for you all!

I wanted to create a really relaxed vibe for our bedroom so I have kept it very neutral with touches of black here and there for contrast. It’s a very simply decorated room but I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of it ✨

GARDEN|

Sorry I’ve been so quiet recently! There hasn’t been too much to update on house wise however, some exciting updates with the second bedroom renovation in the coming weeks which I cannot wait to share with you all ✨

Jordan and I have finally been able to take the cover off of our garden furniture! Taking full advantage of the lovely weather by spending the whole day sunbathing 🌻
