Only took me six months, but here’s the first dispatch since I started cooking @barpanisse. Still so stunned I get called chef here, work with all these incredible people and the produce of my absolute dreams. As Karen Carpenter would say, we’ve only just begun :) by @ameliatelc

Not totally sure how to say this so I guess I’ll just spit it out - this Friday and Saturday will be my last days cooking @casinobarandgrill before I move on to another project, stay tuned for more on that soon.

I want to say the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported me in this space since February. I feel so grateful to Max, to Evelyn who was always so supportive from my very first time there, Brandi who brought me into the fold and as a regular chef, our beloved bartender Trisha, Haydee, ShonRay, Maddie, Jack, HannaH, James, Bridge, Dana and so many more that I can’t even begin to list them all here.

I have loved getting to cook for you all, getting to put up steaming plates of food while a band plays on Saturday nights, watching new folks fall in love with the bar on their first visit, and hanging out with the regulars who stop by every Friday for dinner and a game of pool.

This definitely won’t be the last you see of me, I’ll just be on the other side of the bar from now on, Trisha’s perfect martini in hand. Please come visit me and let me cook for you one last time this week. I know I always say it, but I really hope to see you there, at the best little bar in West County. taken in The Casino Bar & Grill by @ameliatelc

What a wonderful time lately of cooking for work and for friends. If I could throw a dinner party everyday I probably would, but cooking at Casino definitely comes pretty close. The other day Max said that Casino is as close as we get to a real pub in the states, a place where people come to see each other even more so than to get a drink and I think he’s totally right. I love how many real friends I’ve made in just a month there and how many more people I recognize every night I cook there. I love how much you all love spending time together and feel so grateful to get to feed you while you do it. taken in Tomales, California by @ameliatelc
