I’ve been relatively quiet here for a few weeks, the opposite of what I had planned. As global politics have been going belly up, I’ve been spending more time offline, trying to support the people around me. Still, I picked up my pen and wrote an introduction to the concept of rest for the Euro-Mediterranean Network of Women Journalists. It’s addressed to anyone who dedicates their work or life to supporting others and/or lending their voice to them.

Tomorrow we kick off a new series: TFA - The Flinta* Agenda.

This is a creative and educational audio space by the FLINTA* community, covering topics ranging from geopolitics to porn whilst indulging in music. A few weeks ago, Sarah @srhsthrnbrg invited me to moderate a panel discussion on the political challenges surrounding international collaboration in the performing arts. It was a pleasure to hear perspectives from Annemie Vanackere (HAU Hebbel am Ufer), Elena Polivtseva (Culture Policy Room), Dan Thy Nguyen @danthynguyendirector (fluctoplasma festival), Francesca D’Ippolito (C.Re.S.Co., Frame the Gap), Ralf R. Ollertz (composer, cie. Toula limnaios) as well as Paul Hess (Bundesverband Freie Darstellende Künste e.V.).

And clearly I cannot keep my feet still, ever.

A few days ago, @refugeworldwide invited me to celebrate Nowruz with their FLINTA community. It was a beautiful experience to read a few poems.
