Holding the state title hostage #nicheref #readingisFUNdamental

On Thursday, March 5th I left AP Chemistry at 11:15am telling everyone the next time they saw me I'd be a state champion. It was risky, they laughed, it was a gamble, but it was done.

Thank you to my amazing goated coach and teammates--I don't know where I'd be without the totally unfunny 67 jokes during practice and the RDJ edits after tough rounds. Thanks to the Big League and Master Debaters for being the best gcs ever. Thank you to Immanuel Kant for having a late-life epiphany and being a semi-great philosopher. Thank you to the seniors and opponents who made rounds enjoyable. Thank you to my best friend Peyton for the table tote and moral support. Thank you to Mac for helping me make the best Info EVER. by @amentereda

Came here to skip AP Macro but 10th in the nation is pretty cool too #iloveimpromptu #gettingthisoffmychest #nietoc #ılovebooks

I cannot begin to explain the love I have for oral interp. Joining this activity this year has taught me how to become a more caring, passionate, and supportive person. Most importantly, I've learned that every voice and every story matters. I'm forever grateful I got to spend every Friday talking about my love for classic books, making really corny jokes, hauling around a very suspicious huge bag at school at 8:00pm for practice, and starting every Info round talking about my disheartening lack of a love life. In all seriousness, thank you WHS Speech for such an incredible year—two superior with distinctions at state, a 2nd place state finish for Info, and 10th place in the nation for Impromptu speaking! taken in Shakopee, Minnesota by @amentereda

HOSA. Much love for this organization. Going to WLA left me with a lot: five blisters and a limp, a newfound passion for being team Iron Man (what else does one do when their flight is delayed), and most importantly, SO many connections I hope to continue in the future. D.C. is a wonderful place with a great Cheesecake Factory and public transit system AND lots of one-legged birds that are indoors for some reason.

I guess this is goodbye. I got some work to finish. After all, they call it D.C. because those are the grades you will leave it with. Deuces ✌️ taken in Washington, DC by @amentereda
