• Since I've seen zero "street photographers" covering the migrant crisis in Chicago I decided to pick up the camera for the first time in 6 months and headed down to my local migrant shelter. This is the location where the measles outbreak kicked off last month that is currently spreading all over the city. They've set up their own little tables of shop-lifted goods that they sell to each other with money given to them from tax payers and from begging. They get drunk and BBQ and smoke weed and sell drugs all day long down the 1/2 mile stretch of Halsted where the converted warehouse stands at 2241 S. Halsted. They've started forming their own gangs and altercations with the general public and other local gangs are becoming increasingly more common.
