This is what a rehearsal with soul truly looks like: joy, laughter, discipline, and the energy of flamenco in perfect sync. 💃🔥✨ And behind every step, every footwork beat, and every achievement, they are always there: our moms. Always close, watching through the glass, supporting, and guiding every step of this journey. ❤️🙌 📍 Doral Central Park Community Center @cityofdoral #AmericaVivaTheClass #FlamencoDance #BehindTheScenes #dancecompany #rehearsals by @americavivatheclass
On October 22, nearly 1,500 students and teachers from 30 schools across Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the nation’s third-largest school district, gathered at the Adrienne Arsht Center for ‘América Viva for Students’. Presented through M-DCPS’s Cultural Passport program, the production brought history to life through music, dance, and storytelling—an experience performed by talented young dancers and singers, for students. The performance was followed by a reception and the presentation of the Inca Garcilaso Medal to M-DCPS, recognizing the district’s excellence and “A” rating. “Anything you dream of, you can do,” Superintendent Rafael A. Villalobos said to the students from the stage. “The richness of our culture is a blessing,” shared New Land President Ana Teresa Rodríguez. “The arts bring us together and help us celebrate the many traditions that make our community so special.” School Board Chair Mari Tere Rojas called the performance “second to none,” adding, “We are beyond mesmerized.” Vice Chair Monica Colucci played a key role in bringing New Land and M-DCPS together, supporting the initiative as an opportunity to learn history through the arts. At the heart of the initiative is Artistic Director Carolina Lizarraga, whose vision shaped the production. Together with Executive Producer Roque Garcia, she transformed history into a powerful experience for young audiences. New Land honored Luis García of Adonel Companies and Walter Álvarez of Prestress Concrete for their longstanding support and pivotal role in advancing its artistic and educational mission. The program also received generous support from Baptist Health, Berkeley Bank & Trust, the Consulate General of Spain in Miami—represented by Education Attaché Yolanda Zárate—and the City of Doral, with Doral Central Park serving as its program venue. Thank you also to Weston Jewelers, ANF Construction, Central Tire, Duran Roofing, Link Construction, Rock&Dirt. New Land is proud to have HOLA! Américas as media partner. Special thanks to the Arsht Center team for helping bring this experience to life. by @americavivatheclass

1,500 STUDENTS. ONE UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE. 🌎❤️ What started as a dream became a beautiful reality! Carolina and I have always believed in the power of art and education to touch lives, inspire young minds, and connect future generations with their roots. Through América Viva, we had the incredible opportunity to bring the history, music, and traditions of the Americas to life for 1,500 students from 30 schools across Miami-Dade. Seeing the children cheering for their countries, waving their flags, singing, dancing, and celebrating their heritage filled our hearts with so much joy. 🥹❤️ In a city as culturally diverse as Miami, it’s so important to remind our children where they come from, celebrate what makes each culture unique, and embrace everything that brings us together. A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who believed in this vision and helped make it possible. To our sponsors, partners, educators, América Viva, and everyone who worked behind the scenes, we couldn’t have done it without you! This was more than a performance. It was a celebration of our roots, our identity, and the next generation. Here’s to keeping our heritage alive and inspiring young minds through the power of the arts! 🌎✨ #AmericaViva #CelebratingOurHeritage #MiamiDadeSchools #ArtsInEducation #CulturalHeritage by @americavivatheclass
1,500 students. One unforgettable day. A dream three years in the making! ❤️ 💃 For the first time, América Viva brought a special performance to 1,500 Miami-Dade public school students at the Adrienne Arsht Center! After years of celebrating the history, music, dance, and cultures of the Americas, this moment was especially meaningful. We had been working toward this dream for three years, and today, we made it happen! Hearing the children cheer for their countries, seeing their excitement, and watching our young performers shine on stage was something I will never forget. And what makes me even prouder? Today, 95% of our performers are students between the ages of 11 and 18, with even younger talents joining us! As President of New Land Theatricals, I couldn’t be prouder of what we’re building together. My heartfelt congratulations to Carolina Lizarraga, our incredible Artistic Director, whose vision and dedication continue to bring América Viva to life, and to Roque, our producer, for his commitment and extraordinary work behind this production. And, of course, to every young performer who made this day so special! A very special thank-you to Monica Colucci, Mari Tere Rojas, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and everyone who helped make this milestone possible. And to our amazing sponsors and board members: none of this would have been possible without your generosity, trust, and commitment to bringing arts and education to the next generation. What happens backstage makes the magic on stage possible. ✨ A quick glimpse into our dress rehearsal and the moments right before taking the stage at Carrollton School: character costumes, hair and makeup, teamwork, and those final technical stage adjustments that make all the difference. Behind every minute of the show lie hours of preparation, teamwork, and absolute dedication from our dancers, teachers, technical crew, and devoted moms. ❤️ 📍 Carrollton School of the SacredHeart @carrolltonsacredheart #americavivatheshow #BackstageMagic #carrolltonschoolofthesacredheart #ArtsInEducation #dancecompany by @americavivatheclass
Learning through the arts to transform the stage into a classroom for life. 🎭✨ We are overjoyed to welcome our newest group of little artists joining América Viva The Class 👧🏻💃! Education is one of our core pillars: we nurture well-rounded dancers who master flamenco fusion, theater techniques, and stage expression, while truly understanding the story they carry. They first learn the history of cultural heritage and Latin fusion, so they can passionately share it with the audience. 🌎📜🎶 This reel captures a truly magical passing of the torch: our youngest students in class with teacher Mayte, watching the company’s rehearsal for the very first time. Many of the company dancers inspiring them today started right here in The Class when they were just 12 or 13 years old. The tradition lives on! ❤️🙌 #AmericaVivaTheClass #PerformingArtsEducation #flamencodancer #danceclass #doralflorida by @americavivatheclass
💃🔥🏛️ #americavivatheclass #arshtcenter #BehindTheScenes #DanceCompany #doralflorida by @americavivatheclass
