She’s here and she’s so pretty I want to cry.

I had one of my favorite artists ever create this artwork before even knowing what I wanted. @arekushisu_11 Thank you so much for this, can’t wait to work with you again ❤️ The book cover idea came to me like an illumination, the purple, the stars—everything felt perfect for this story and I can’t wait for this book to be out for y’all to read it.

I hope you like it. And I hope some of you are as excited as I am (shitting my pants) and yeahhh. MY BABIES ARE SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the details and can’t wait to show you more artwork and share more about this story that consumed me in the most beautiful way possible.

Because I can’t keep hiding her anymore, and I can’t wait for this book to be out in the world. The heartbreak? Oh it’s coming. I hope you’re ready for what these characters are about to go through.
There are hints on the cover if you look closely. And yes, there will be songs in every chapter, so get your headphones (and tissues) ready. I’ve cried for them more times than I can count. They’re breaking my heart in all the worst and best ways.
I’m truly stressed about this cover reveal, it’s such a personal story and it’s not for everyone, it might be triggering and sickening at times but bare with me.

Where do I even start? @amethyst.author has an undeniable, incomparable talent for writing tragedy, trauma, and grief. Knowing Ames, I knew before going into this that I was going to be utterly destroyed by the end of it. And as a masochist who enjoys being devastated by books… I still don’t think I was prepared for the emotional grief this has left me with since finishing it.

Both Azra and Damir’s stories are ones that are going to leave permanent scars on my heart. I couldn’t have imagined another ending or outcome, and still my heart was unprepared. I’m actually not okay! 🥹😭💙 A love letter to Ame & Scar. Your words have broken me, took my breath away, healed me, made me emotional. In essence your words made me FEEL. I haven’t been able to complete a book in so long because I’ve been in a horrible slump but this just pulled me right out of it.

I love Mireya deeply and I connect to her with all of my being. If I could give her a tight hug right now I’d do just that because I love her to purgatory and back.

I started reading last week because I constantly had to take breaks. It was extremely difficult to get through but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

The quotes on these slides won’t do this book justice because I’ve got tons highlighted on my kindle. 😩 I’ve never cried while reading but this completely wrecked me.

The heartache was unbearable, in fact it literally felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest. However, I’ll continue making wishes. For the characters and the authors of this masterpiece.

I cannot wait to read more of Ame’s novels and congratulations to Scar on the debut! This was absolutely phenomenal. Gut wrenching but phenomenal. 💙💙💙 by @amethyst.author

This has been one of my top favorite reads of this year. I still need to sit down and write my full review but any time I do I have tears covering my vision. I have not read a book that hits me so deep like 912321 did, there are some parts of me that I saw in Mireya and I understood her, all of her. This was such phenomenal story to have ARC read and being able to be apart of such an amazing team and to be beside Ame & Scar for this journey. This story is so worth adding to your TBR.

I am utterly obsessed with this book! The second it hit my Kindle, I could not put it down and completely devoured it in 24 hours. The writing was absolutely beautiful (187 highlights!!!) and the immersive playlist was soooo good.

Happy 912321 surprise release day 💙

Okay, this caption is going to be long because I need to explain myself. First of all, third book? debut to Scar? I’m so proud of what this story is today. The amount of work that went into creating this paperback and story and ebook (It’s a lot) is probably the biggest factor to why this is published sooner. I never drew as much as I did for this book, the formatting, designing the cover, editing, proof-reading… all that was already done way sooner than I thought.

September is a month that is very dear to my heart, every book I’ve ever wrote was published in September and I really wanted to keep this tradition alive. Also, my grandpa died at the beginning of the month and diving back into grieving someone who inspired most of the memories Mireya has with Edna was the most difficult part of this. That’s why I wanted to publish it earlier and Scar was the best cheerleader and supporter ever. I know a lot of you are still ARC reading, don’t worry, take your time, no deadlines are added or anything, as long as you’re doing it at your own pace 🫶🏻

I’m just really glad it’s out here now, it truly was tiring and I hope it’ll find readers who would understand this story.
Every edit, every dm, our team who has been supporting this book and every reader who trusted us with this, thank you so much 💙

As suicide prevention month comes to an end & with everything that’s happening in the world these days, with the amount of despair and anxiety so many of us are feeling, we just wanted to tell you, if you ever need seven minutes, of crying, of talking, of presence, we’ll be here.

My grandpa would’ve loved seeing so many people being touched by his and my grandma’s seven minutes speech and their love for paper stars, he would’ve loved seeing you enjoy their kind heart in a different form, so thank you for this too.

@authorscarbeckford I’m so proud of you for keeping up with my insane self destructive mind for a year, happiest debut release to u mostly, the first in a long backlist hopefully. Love you, partner.

i truly don’t even know where to begin with this. my chest has felt so heavy since reading the last word of this story.

this story is drenched in SO MUCH heartache, suffering, healing, loving, wishing, and feeling. being an empath made this reading experience so immersive and painful.

this story touches on topics so incredibly devastating, it made me want to climb into the pages and hug little Mireya and tell her everything will be okay and life gets brighter. it made me want to thank Damien for being the light that finally shone on Mireya long enough for her to feel safe. it made me want to protect Milo with every fiber of my being. it made me want to thank Hayzel for being the constant that Mireya needed throughout her life.

i will never stop making wishing for the ones who can’t do it for themselves. ✨

my sweet Ame, where do i even begin? i am so proud of you forever. this piece of art is your best yet and the journey made the final destination so special and painful i still can’t see through the tears. I love you to the purgatory and back, eternally 😭🖤

𝟿𝟷𝟸𝟹𝟸𝟷 𝑅𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑤 ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

Some books are sad. Some books are emotional. And then there are books that leave you sitting there after the last page, staring into nothing because you’re not quite sure what to do with everything you just felt.

This was one of those books for me.

It’s a story filled with pain, difficult experiences and deeply personal struggles, but it never felt like that was all it had to offer. Alongside all of that, there is a compelling FBI investigation, an incredibly deep romance and two characters who find comfort and understanding in each other in a way that made this story feel surprisingly safe.

Their relationship was probably one of my favorite parts of the book. It was so deeply emotional, but also incredibly comforting. There was this beautiful sense of mutual understanding between them – they could simply exist beside each other without demanding or expecting more than the other could give. Their relationship felt safe, genuine and incredibly intimate, and I found myself feeling so comfortable whenever they were together.

I also really enjoyed the FBI investigation woven throughout the story. As someone who loves psychology and profiling, this added another layer of tension and intrigue for me. I loved how everything was connected, with the characters’ personal struggles, the investigation and the romance all intertwining into one bigger story.

And the atmosphere… this book is BLUE.

Blue-grey cliffs. Cold ocean water. Waves crashing against the rocks. Fog, storms, late autumn turning into early winter. And somewhere in the middle of all that darkness, a blue light still burning.

The writing was emotional and intense, yet very easy to read, and the story definitely left me thinking about it long after I finished. It is the kind of book that takes your heart, tears it apart and leaves you carrying the pieces with you.

If you love stories that make you feel deeply, stay on your mind long after the last page, and leave you with that beautiful ache in your chest – this one might be for you. ♡

I wouldn’t take a single moment of the pain this book caused me back.
