Happy birthday, Mom… You did it, with God’s help, you made it to 90 years young!!! What a blessing it is to call you Mom. Your life journey has been full. Full of love, precious moments, lots of challenging times, heartbreaks, loss but also many joyous life milestones, adventures in travel, a never ending music ministry, dearest of friendship both old and new and service to your community. Did you know my Mom still sings in the church choir, sometimes sings in both services, and would still be directing if she could. Did you know she packs bags of food weekly with the church for children with food insecurities. It’s called the GAP, God always provides! Did you know even with her athritic hands she still sits down at the piano and plays music from her college solo recital program. Did you know she visits the elderly?! Those that are home bound. What a JOY my Mom has chosen to still serve and find purpose and a calling at this age! Did you know she still loves my father, her one true love, still thinks about him and day dreams what life may have been like if he as still with her. Your life journey has not been perfect but may you pause and look back and know your life has been full, that you are loved by many and that God has faithful to you and always with you in every moment. You make 90 look incredible! I am so thankful you had the opportunity to live double the amount of life Dad had on this earth. I am grateful for answered prayers. And I am grateful I have learned so much from you! Please join me in wishing my Mama a very happy 90th birthday! I love you dearly and can’t wait to celebrate this weekend. Ps. Life chronicles. My beloved mother, E.r. Hernandez, turned 89 today. Words cannot express my gratitude to the Lord for allowing this amazing person to live almost double the amount of life, my father did. Can you imagine that….beyond thankful! My sister and I were able to take off from work to celebrate her life! Her life has been one full of music, hardship, joy, travel adventures both in her yourh and as an adult, so much love and affection from her great grandson, her grandchildren, children, siblings, in-laws, friends both near and far and most importantly love from our Heavenly Father! Mom, I know life after Dad, was not easy in the beginning but I hope you look back on your life and know you did your best, and your best was enough! We have learned so much from you, and thankful for your grit to provide and your constant love. Michael, Michele Hernandez Kriley and I are blessed to call you Mother. You’re a fierce woman who never gave up, held onto God’s promises and continued to be His hands and feet in this world! I am so proud of you and so thankful for our daily calls! Please join me in celebrating my mother’s 89th birthday by dropping a noted below or using one word that stands out about her the most! Life chronicles. Oh how time flies…my dearest Michele Hernandez Kriley. I don’t have any memories of this photo besides it’s probably the summer that our Dad passed away. What are we looking at? How adorable are our outfits! Your hair was even great back then! Well, I thought this photo was appropriate to use in celebration of you turning another year older because it visually shows us how far you/we have come. Your are my only sister. You are my memory keeper. You are my confidant. You are beautiful and have the best hair! You are a fashionista. You are an amazing algebra teacher. You are a generous gift giver. You are a fierce daughter. You are the best Auntie. You are a strong willed and loving wife. You are a bestie to many friends. You are determined to choose JOY no matter what life throws at you. Those you love the most call you Mom/Chela but your most important role on this earth is being a beautiful child of God. May your light continue to shine bright. Thank you, Sis for leaning in and doing the hard work. Your life has touched many people some that can give testimony now and some that haven’t even figured it out yet. May this year bring you new adventures, loving experiences, opportunities to laugh, good food, far travels and maybe more grandbabies. May you continue to walk boldly in the path God has for you and demonstrate the true meaning of grace & unconditional love to all those around you.
