Truly was an amazing experience. I haven’t felt this inspired in a long time so I’m grateful for this trip. We went to celebrate my mom’s birthday and I cannot and will not take for granted every year I spend with my mom. Travelling with family is never easy but there’s a lot of love.
I saw so much beauty in the art and architecture in the area we lived in. The churches were beyond comprehension. And the people we met were so nice. Can’t wait to revisit :))))
Also, I got an impromptu matching tattoo with Miatta to commemorate my trip. I got an olive branch because #1. I love olives, #2. Italians love olive oil, and #3 and the most important reason is to remind myself that we are all not free until everyone is free. Palestinians have been persecuted and treated like second class citizens in their own homeland by the Israeli government by way of the IDF and continue to spew violent rhetoric about and towards Palestinians. Israel continues to desecrate Palestinians. Generations of families are bombed for no other reason than being Palestinian and voices are being silenced. Human rights are being violated everyday!!! THIS IS NOT A WAR, this is a very current and. active extermination of peoples. i’m absolutely sure my post is gonna get flagged or whatever… 🤷🏿‍♀️

This is really dedicated to my mommy. She’s such a hardworking lady and never does anything for herself so I wanted to do this for her. She’s never been to Vegas or been to a concert. I wanted to give her something she could remember. I can’t wait to do this more often for her. The hotel was sooooo nice for sending chocolate-covered strawberries. The hotel lights were a m a z i n g for photos. We also had nice robes and stuff. Fabulous. We saw a guy shoplifting at Marshall’s. It was fun. And ain’t she purty?? I love my mommy. I fucking love Tokyo and I love Japan. I’m totally going next September. I’m like a couple months out from Japan and I loved it. I also LOVE solo travelling. It’s so fun. I totally encourage people to go out there and explore on your own. No one holding you back, you can come and go as you please, and these people don’t know you so be a new you!!!! I just had to add this: It was very strange being a Black person in this country lmao. Not only am I a foreigner but also a tall Black girl with braids. I was getting stared at constantly, especially by children hahaha. When I went to a science museum, I waved “Hi” and the children would scurry off laughing. Obsessed with Portugal. I have caviar for the first time, girl… I like it!!! It was a good time. I want everyone to go. Public transit is amazing. People are cool and it was a nice slower pace to American life. Beautiful country.. just beautiful. Hills.. so many hills. Stairs… so many stairs. I think my calves and butt grew. by @ami.j7

I was so full from Chinese hot pot.. Delicious food with the boyfriend’s family. I love them a lot. Good people. Side note: I need to wrap my head more.. I love playing with different styles and colors. Very fun! I definitely should get some more colors: olive green is next. Ok bye. by @ami.j7
