THE SHIFT! This year at camp the theme was “The Shift” and I truly believe that there has been a shift in our generation. I don’t even have words to describe what happened this past week but the Lord poured out his presence on us. @roscamps is my home away from home not only for the people and family I have there, but because the spirit of God is there. Something that pastor Dawson said that I think we should all live by is - “yesterday’s encounter isn’t enough to last you today”. Brazil in the Books 🇧🇷🇧🇷

I don’t even know where to begin. This has been the best and most life changing experience. The Lord was evident in every step of this trip. To the people and new friends we made, the travel , and to even fellowship with missionaries. We worshipped our hearts out with other missionaries, and felt the Lords presence like never before. We went to the slums and had kids church, invited kids who have nothing to come and learn about their father. We went to orphanages and talked to young girls who were rescued from trafficking. We went to the streets of Brazil and worshiped, prayed, and loved on the homeless and the lost.

This trip was convicting, truly convicting. This song (God is so good) will now always remind me of Brazil. Several times we sang this but the most memorable was watching kids who have nothing sing this with joy. This trip wasn’t about my family or I, but this was only about Jesus and spreading the gospel. Getting to do ministry with your family is so sweet and grows you not only closer to the Lord but to each other.

This trip was so fun getting to be with friends that are basically our family, but so heartbreaking seeing what some people live like. I’m beyond grateful for this trip. (Lord willing) this definitely won’t be my last trip to Recife.

Thank you Jesus for all you did this past week and all you are continuing to do!!
