2021-2022-2023 Autumn 🍂

Three photos taken on three different years during autumn, guess which one was taken during which year?

Looking back at these old photos, I’m still proud of them. It also shows me that my style has not changed that much since! taken in Paris, France by @amieaussie

Happy birthday to my best friend, and the best little dog🎈🥳

I couldn’t think of better way than to celebrate by posting this picture of Amie and her best friend Vos, when they came to visit us this summer. We must have planned to do a Lady and the Tramp shoot with our dogs at least two years ago and finally our little dream came true! Can you believe this magical location is just 5 minutes from my home? (I inserted a little video to show you that everything was 100% REAL - no IA props ;)) by @amieaussie

Iconic Cats of Paris (Part III)

Cat photography in the city takes A LOT of patience: waiting for the right moment, letting them explore, and sometimes accepting that the perfect photo is simply not happening today.
Knowing when to stop is just as important as getting the shot. If they’re stressed or overwhelmed, we call it a day. Their comfort always comes first.

And then, when they do decide to cooperate…
Paris + a cat + the right moment = magic.✨

Happy World Photography Day 🌍
This year, I feel like cats have really been the highlight of my photography, and so I’d like to share with you a photo taken recently and a story that goes with it.
I wanted to try a new location for shoots that seemed very cool. Little did I know that this area of Paris was incredibly busy in the early hours of the morning. The rubbish trucks, people cleaning the streets, people from the night before still out partying… not the ideal location especially for a cat. We spent maybe 2 minutes here, because our sweet model was not totally at ease and I went home thinking that I didn’t catch any good shots. I can say, it was a pleasant surprise when I found this shot waiting for me in my SD card 🙏

Experience a sunset photoshoot with my dog and I 🧡

I love to push my own boundaries when I’m out on a shoot with just me, my camera and Amie! Sometimes she doesn’t want to take photos and that’s fine, but if I’m lucky and she’s in the mood, I get to experience something I like to call, chasing the light, where we literally RUN towards every spot where light is calling to us. We spend a couple minutes in each spot because sunset lasts maximum one hour. And sometimes I get so lucky that I come back with more than 2 good pictures. Yes, all these were taken on the same evening 😱 Lucky me!

Iconic Cats of Paris - Part II [Café Edition]

The most beautiful thing about photographing cats is how unpredictable it all is! You could choose the location, the time of day, but in the end it all comes down to how these models feel on the day itself, if they’re willing to pose for you, or if it’s just not their day at all! Either way, these expressions are just so genuine and real and they make the entire photo come to life on a whole new level!

An insight to my photoshoots in Paris with this lovely client review:

“We had the most wonderful experience with our photo session in Paris! Photographing two dogs is no easy task, especially when you’re trying to capture them both looking at the camera, interacting with each other, and sharing natural moments with us. Somehow, Rosie made it all look effortless.

Rosie has an incredible talent for photographing pets and truly captured each of our dogs’ unique personalities. The photos feel authentic, full of life, and beautifully preserve the little expressions and moments that make them who they are.

Rosie was also so patient, kind, and calm throughout the entire session, which made both us and our dogs feel completely at ease. The result is a collection of stunning photos that we’ll treasure forever.“

DID YOU KNOW?
Even though I don’t give out RAW files, you can also purchase your entire gallery which I edit lightly on Lightroom. Would you guess that in each slide, there is at least one photo that has been only edited on Lightroom? I’ll be interested to know if you can tell the difference! taken in Paris, France by @amieaussie
