Monday Blues 🐳🌀 bookish edition.

I haven't been online or posting lately, been trying to get out of a somewhat reading slump plus all the events in my life. But a Monday Blues post seems fitting.. not in a melancholy type of way but more revitalizing since blue is my favorite colour 🤭

Which books have you read or are on your TBR?? 💙

my birthday month was so eventful and very special to me 💗

#september #birthdaymonth

being introverted had me very shy to attend and put myself out there but I am grateful I did because I met wonderful bookish people ⭐️

#booksbooksbooks

of course I had to create themed food and drinks for the occasion. with olives sushi, i paired it with colour themed mocktails 🍓

#thelovehypothesis

on my birthday, I took myself out for a solo date. nothing better than cake, a drink and a good book 🎀

my expectations for The Midnight Library🌙 🐱 by @mattzhaig were very high and after reading it I feel like my perspective on life will never be the same again 🌏

my rating 5/5 ⭐️

You mean to tell me, through science fiction and world-building the importance of life and gratitude for the people in our lives???? The messages were easy to grasp and my favorite quote revolving "Want is a lack.." really impacted me as a person. Nora Seed's character development was perfectly paced as she goes through each regret in her life and understands the lessons behind it.

For anyone looking for a contemporary fiction, a quick read and something to make your heart grow (like the Grinch), this is perfect for you 💙

in my personal, most humble opinion🎀

When I saw this trend I knew I had to hop on it too. As a child, you'd always want a gold star for just being you ✨️
