😂😂😂 #studentlife #studyabroad #vietnamese #german #deutschland by @amiediary.de

1. Skilled workers with a university degree – §18b
In the past, I also considered applying for this route because I heard you could move straight to Germany to work without spending a few years studying. However, when looking for a job, I realized it is not easy to find positions that match your degree and experience - especially when your German is limited. If you already have a university degree and experience in the right field, this is still a path well worth considering!

2. University or master’s studies
This is the path I chose! The study duration can range from 1.5 to 4 years depending on the program and degree level. In return, you get time to build your knowledge, improve your language skills, and get to know the German labor market. If you choose the right major and gain experience early on, you can broaden your chances of finding a specialized job with a good salary after graduation.

3. Ausbildung: Vocational training in Germany
This is a suitable choice if you want to combine study with practice and build work experience early. Usually, you need at least B1 German, though some fields or programs may require a higher level. If you register through a consulting center, service fees can go up to 100–200 million VND or more, depending on the agency and service package.

4. Chancenkarte – Opportunity Card for job seeking
If you have qualifications or experience but haven’t found a job in Germany yet, you can look into the Chancenkarte. However, not everyone qualifies; you need to meet requirements regarding degrees, language skills, finances, or a points system depending on your case.

5. Pursuing a PhD / Doctoral studies
If you love research and want to develop deeper expertise, doing a PhD in Germany is also a path worth considering. Some research positions come with an employment contract or a scholarship, but the conditions and income will depend on the university, project, and program.
I chose the study abroad path - what path are you considering? #studyabroad #student #germany #vietnamese #fyp by @amiediary.de

1. DAAD Scholarship
In my major, I know two students who actually received this scholarship. They shared that putting the application together wasn't too difficult -though, of course, the requirements vary depending on the specific program. The DAAD is great for a wide range of candidates, including those wanting to pursue a master’s degree or conduct research in Germany. For many master's scholarship programs, you can receive around 992 euros per month, along with allowances for health insurance, travel expenses, and other costs.

2. Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters
From what I’ve researched, this is one of the highest-paying master's scholarships out there. You can get 1,400 euros per month for up to 24 months, plus additional financial support depending on the program's guidelines. But keep in mind, you can't just pick any random master's program and apply. You have to enroll in specific Erasmus Mundus programs that offer this scholarship, and you'll usually end up studying at multiple universities in different countries.

3. Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship)
Personally, I feel like this is a scholarship that many of you might not know about yet. It provides 300 euros per month for students with excellent academic records, high potential, and strong social commitment or notable achievements. The scholarship is usually awarded for at least two semesters and can be extended until the end of your standard period of study, depending on your university's regulations. However, please note that this is a financial supplement, not a full scholarship!
If you are currently studying or planning to study abroad in Germany, make sure to save this video to look into each scholarship later. Who knows, you might just land a significant financial boost for your academic journey! 🤎

1: Low or No Tuition Fees.

This is one of the main reasons why I chose Germany. Many public universities don't charge tuition fees, which allows me to save a significant amount of money and spend it on other experiences. However, you still need to budget for living expenses and semester fees. For example, my university charges €573 per semester.

2: An International Degree and Career Opportunities

I don't just want to earn a master's degree; I also want to expand my career opportunities for the future. Studying and gaining work experience in Germany has made me feel more confident about pursuing an international career. In the future, I could see myself working in Germany or other European countries.

3: You Can Find Jobs That Require Only English.

I used to worry quite a lot because my German wasn't very good. But I soon realized that many international companies hire English-speaking employees, especially in the tech industry. I'm also building my career in Germany step by step, although I still want to improve my German every day.

4: Travel to 27 Schengen Countries More Easily.

This is definitely one of my favorite things about living in Germany! With a valid German residence permit, I can take short trips to other Schengen countries without normally needing to apply for a separate visa. Being able to plan a weekend getaway to explore a new country is such an amazing feeling!

If you're considering studying in Germany, I hope sharing my personal experiences gives you a little more insight into what it's like! ❤️ #student #studyabroad #scholarship #germany #internationalstudents by @amiediary.de
