#FridayFails 💃🏽

This video is from a class by @kush134 that I attended back in 2024, London @pineappledancestudios . I never posted it because… well, I didn’t perform that well. 🙈

Recently, I came across this video again and thought — sure, I messed up a few parts… but is it really such a big deal?

God knows how many videos are sitting in my folder that never made it to the gram because I “didn’t do well enough.” 😅

We’re so used to posting only our BEST videos that Instagram has slowly started feeling very far from reality. We see the perfect shot, the flawless performance, the effortless dancer… but we don’t see the hours of practice, the failed attempts, the awkward takes, the mistakes and everything that happened before that “perfect” video.

Someone might look at a dancer and think, “Oh, they’re just naturally good.”

But behind that one good video are probably 100 takes where things went completely wrong. 😂

So, here’s a little reminder to myself — and a call to all the dancers out there:

Keep it real. Post the video where you didn’t nail it. Share the struggle, the mistakes, the failed attempts.

Because maybe that imperfect video is actually the one someone else needs to see. ❤️

Sep 26, 2025 -> Sep 26, 2026 — 1 year since we left Seattle permanently for Hyderabad. 13 years in the 🇺🇸countless memories, friendships & experiences that we’ll always cherish. But moving back home 🇮🇳 has been such a positive change — especially seeing the kids build stronger bonds with school & colony friends grandparents, cousins & extended family. Life feels more relaxed, not worrying about visas, expenses, jobs, & immigration, and having more freedom to enjoy life hobbies. ⚽️🎾🏸🏊‍♂️🚴

One year back home — and loving it! ❤️
