fleeting beauty
such a common known thing to know everything is temporary, yet still i want to hold on to certain beauties of life forever.
how often i wish i could replay memories in my head, feel a comforting touch again, the warmth of sunrays on my face while swimming in the sea, the beautiful sunset or the feeling of the air in my mother land.

fall always reminds me of this. I notice how beautiful the leaves get as they change their colours, colours that mirror the beauty of a sunset. a beauty so fleeting, lasting only for a moment before the leaves fall to the ground and the trees prepare for winter.

there‘s beauty in every ending, yet i struggle so much to let go, even when holding on takes too much from me.
maybe i need to let go too in order to live on. by @amiira.warda

everything ends, why do i want to stop time?

the earth never asks god to make it stop changing. chapters come to an end, rest gently. and in their place new beginnings are born. by @amiira.warda
