Okay…** gurll 😏**

I knew my weight had become a problem. I knew I wasn’t feeling like myself, and I knew I needed to get my shit together.

But for a long time, I kept saying I’ll start tomorrow

Then I had surgery.

And while I was healing, I made myself a promise: when my body was ready, I was going to get serious.

Not make excuses.
Not quit when it got hard.

I was going to become the healthiest version of myself again.

And I fucking did.

19 pounds down.
My clothes are fitting differently.
My face has changed.
My body has changed.

And that girl staring back at me?

She’s determined as hell.

I’m not finished. Not even close.

This is just the beginning of the comeback.

So yeah, I’m going to post the comparison.
I’m going to enjoy the hell out of this progress.

Because I worked for it.

19 pounds down. And this bitch is just getting started. 😘😏🔥😮‍💨💁🏼‍♀️

Just a reminder that this whole “getting healthier” thing isn’t an overnight process. 🙃

I’m still figuring out where the line is between healthy eating habits and not falling back into restrictive nonsense. I’ve been focusing on fueling my body, taking care of my gut health, and building habits I can actually live with.

Some days I feel like I’m making great progress, and some days I feel like nothing is changing… but that’s kind of how real life works. 🩷

Slow progress is still progress, and I’m learning that taking care of myself is a marathon, not a sprint.

✨Girl Math ✨

If it helps me feel better, have more energy, feel confident in my own skin, sleep better, and show up as a better version of myself… then it’s not “expensive” — it’s an investment 🫶🏻

I used to think spending money on my health was extra, but I realized that feeling good physically and mentally affects every part of life. My family, my mood, my confidence, my motivation, all of it.

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish. Prioritizing your health, your habits, and your mindset is one of the best investments you can make💪🏻

And the coolest part? Watching other women start feeling better too

✨Living within my means core✨

These are things I’ve clearly already been doing but
2025 really has me reflecting further on myself and my consumption in life and the way I spend my money not only for my mental health and personal life, but also the consumption that’s harmful to our environment.

•Mismatched bed sheets. We’re just here for cozy vibes✌🏻
•My entire wardrobe. Fall, winter, summer & shoes & almost entirely thrifted.
•My daily hair products
• Hair tools I’ve had since high school
• My only makeup that’s probably very expired
•Cracked/chipped bowls. It still works so why get new? 💁🏼‍♀️
•10 cups. 8 of them being 2nd hand from my great grandparents
• My only shower products
•98% of our furniture being 2nd hand
•Out dated home appliances. Again it still works so why change it?
