Plot twist…
Our top selling sleeve isn’t “cute”.

It’s
“I’M REACTIVE – I NEED SPACE.”

Turns out a lot of dogs prefer a little breathing room.

No shame. No drama. Just clear communication.

“Aaarrrrrrggggggg STOP! Don’t distract him, we’re training!”

“No, no, no don’t pat her (as she cowers) she’s anxious with strangers.”

“Game over, it’s home time” – Pup reacts out of fear and starts a combination of growling, barking and lunging at people that encroach on their space leaving you to frantically de-escalate the situation.

Or perhaps these situations occur and you stay silent out of fear of being judged for speaking up 🤫

These are a few of the preventable situations I’ve witnessed that many dogs owners endure when they leave the backyard.

🚨 PREVENTION IS KEY 🚨

🔸Why use a lead sleeve?

Our lead sleeves act as your dogs voice while displaying clear, bright and bold text allowing your dogs message to be seen and acknowledged from afar before respectful strangers that have the ability to read get too close (no bs here) resulting in minimised unwanted interactions and distractions for both you and your pup when out in public.

🔸How do they work?

Our lead sleeves fold over your pets lead. They are secured with wide velcro at each end to limit movement while in use. Your message is applied to both sides of the sleeve making it visible from most angles.

🔸How to order – online www.amillipets.au

Our most popular lead sleeves including IN TRAINING & I NEED SPACE are ready made in Fluoro yellow and ready to ship.

Custom orders – If your pup has specific message to send to the public now is the time to organise the delivery. As an added bonus you get to pick the colour of your specified text from the colours available at the time of ordering! Head to the ‘lead sleeve custom order’ tab on our website to order.

🔸Display it so you don’t need to say it now!

Advocate for your dog🐾🤍

Harlow doesn’t mind seeing other dogs, but she doesn’t like dogs getting in her face or coming into her personal space.

So we advocate for her🐾

Her “NO DOGS” leash wrap is a simple way of communicating that we need space. It helps prevent unwanted greetings and gives Harlow the distance she needs to feel comfortable!

Your dog might be friendly, they might just want to say hello. But not every dog wants that interaction, and that’s okay💗

If you see a dog wearing a “NO DOGS” wrap or anything similar, please respect it. Don’t let your dog approach. Give them space, the owner and dog will appreciate it so much!!

Just pretend I’m not here. P L E A S E 😬

Dreaming of the day our culture catches up and the default is ignoring dogs so they don’t have to wear sleeves / tags / badges / vests just so they can enjoy their personal uninterrupted space.

Sadly, the majority of humans don’t realise the damage uninvited attention causes until they experience it (or educate themselves).

People see his sign and assume he’s a service dog in training.

NO, it’s not just service dogs that need to be ignored. It’s ALL dogs!
But I smile and keep walking. (whatever works!)

TRUE dog people will never be seen or known.
Coz they understand and respect dogs.
We LOVE those people! 🙌

Sure, Ted can greet when he’s calm and on OUR terms. Definitely NOT when he’s over aroused, silly, can’t think and then takes us ages to restore his neutrality. 🫠

For now though, our leash sleeves do the job. 👌
They stand out PLUS they look great!

When mam says you have to go to the vets, but she already takes you to work with her every day so it's no different to any other day 🤷‍♀️

Murphy got stabbed (had his cytopoint injection), lobotomized (had his ears swabbed) and almost drowned (had a bath. That one was for mam though, he was fine being stinky).
