Cafes are awesome….but have you heard of a MANGA CAFE? 📖 🎨 💥
Growing up in Japan, there are tons of cafes filled with Japanese animation books aka Manga. Some are multiple floors high and you can even stay overnight in some of them 💤
When i heard about the first official manga cafe opening in Los Angeles, I was ecstatic. @mangalounge.official is a beautiful little chill manga cafe nestled in Monterey Park, CA. The cafe has many manga selections to choose from and tons of comfortable chairs to get cozy to read in.
They just started a manga book club which I got lucky to attend, and we talked about the first manga of One Piece @onepiece_staff , my beloved favorite 🏴‍☠️
I’m so excited to have found a new place to be able to indulge in manga in a safe chill spot in LA ☀️

My best friend, guardian angel, protector and soulmate passed away last week from cancer. To honor his spirit, and all the animals who have graced my life, I am running in a @maximmag_covergirl @maximmag competition. If I win, $15k gets to be donated to @rescuecity , an amazing animal rescue sanctuary out in New York. Your vote matters; please take only one moment of your time in your day to vote for us <3
Scooby, my great dane, was a rescue; I adopted him from a family who no longer could care for him. I could not have asked for a better companion these past 2 years. He never left my side, taught me so much and more, and definitely rescued me too. I trained him as a psychiatric service animal and he helped heal mental health therapy clients we served in my clinic. Animals, especially dogs, can be trained to do so much and more; we just have to care for them, protect them and love them back. They lead us humans through life on this Earth, like members of packs do. They know more about mother nature and earth than we may in so many ways, believe that.

First picture is the first time we met<3
Second picture I got to take him to visit my old hometown in San Francisco at the Golden Gate Bridge ☮
Thank you @michaelanthonyphotography for the memorable professional photos <3 He loved being infront of the camera.

It's Showtime!
Got to experience BeetlehouseLA before they close for the time being. They have been a staple of LA entertainment and expression of Tim Burton influenced films. It was great to get to meet some of the dedicated performers before they're off in their next adventure. I hope they come back!

@bearologyusa x @attackontitan immersive dining experience! Epic. This is a really good anime/manga to watch/read especially in today's times btw. I really enjoyed wearing AOT's official outfit and eating the stuffed baked potato. Lots of fun/unique photo ops. Until May 2027 ⚔️🥔

@capcomusa had their first official pop up store in the US with actual imported items from Japan this year! At @littleakihabarala
Tomorrow is their last day before they’re off to the next adventure 🩸
I channelled Dante from @devilmaycrygame ♥️💋
& got to see @megaman ‘s new game coming out.
Fun fact: i remember as a little kid playing my first Megaman game with my childhood friend in Japan who’s dad is a dentist, after he numbed my teeth and covered my tooth with my very first crown 🫨
What was your earliest memory with Capcom?

A night to remember: meeting the music composers @sonya_belousova & editor @litmandesign of @onepiecenetflix ! 🎶

Part of an acting gig I had the past 2 months, I got to channel @riccigrams Casper style while acting in a haunted house, that had an electrical chair just like in the movie. So I had to take these pics. 👻
@stoneoakmanor is a beautiful 100 year old manor located in the breathtaking mountains of Yucaipa county. They are known for their regular bed & breakfast services with overnight themed rooms, and this chair makes the home ADA accessible to all 💛. They also host different festive events throughout the year, including a halloween haunt & vendors with TTRPG games deep in the forest 🌳; I had a blast & learned so much from being a front of house actor for the haunt this year. If you’re curious to hear more about the haunt, @desertsun did a wonderful job highlighting it this year in a recent article with some epic photos of the cast & crew 🎃.

Take Your Heart ♥️ 🥀 💖
The video game franchise #persona is having tons of fun celebrations right now in Socal to celebrate their 30th anniversary ✨
Panther 🐆 prowled over to @littleakihabarala @sega pop up before they ended this weekend as Ann Tamaki, my favorite character in the series 🐱 :3
She’s a mixed model who deals with challenging things and grows stronger through it all in the name of justice💖
