Shooting @aminewoods felt like documenting more than a creative process, it felt like witnessing someone in conversation with themselves.

A Nigerian designer and creative thinker working across branding, fashion, and visual communication, Amine approaches design as a way to shape perception, tell stories, and create connection. But while creating Roots and Resonance, something deeper surfaced.

What unfolded wasn’t just about making something beautiful, it became an exploration of identity. A quiet reflection on who he used to be, who he has become, and the space between both versions of himself.

Through curiosity, experimentation, and honesty, this project became a reminder that creativity can reveal things we don’t always make time to notice.

I wanted this film to feel like that moment of recognition, when you look at your own life and realize growth isn’t always loud; sometimes it arrives in reflection.
