Not the ending I imagined, but sometimes god has a different plan for you.

After long thought, due to injury and nursing school, I’m retiring from rowing.

It all started with an informational meeting where I told myself, “I’ll try it for 2 weeks,” and somehow turned into something I completely fell in love with. This sport has taught me more about life and myself than I ever could have imagined.

I’m incredibly grateful for everything it has given me over the past two years—the memories, friendships, and lessons that I’ll cherish forever.

Now it’s time for a new chapter: nursing school. 🩷⚕️

Thank you OU rowing, for everything! ❤️ taken in The University of Oklahoma by @amira.evans9
