Blush Response; Rich in heart - without synthetic emotion.
A show truly dedicated to humans. Thirteen songs by artists who live and breathe the art of song.
✴️
This episode features appearances from synthetic voices.
Android interludes wishing they had the guts to feel, even if it was loneliness - it would be at least something.
🕊️
Note;
As a writer and artist, I have enjoyed these past months curating music for the amity agora. A meeting place of song, without rhyme or reason, researching and listening.

We search for magic to reach us, irony, subversion..
🫧
Taking time to reach out to artists, labels or managers that can share song, this episode loops through country to trip pop. Lead through a thread of song, voice and humanity.

'An ode to ’80s-inspired prototype pop perfection. A journey through cosmically memorable nostalgic sound color-ways, smooth vocal layering, and positive memory-driven synthesis. State Of The Art tells the tale of admiration for the beauty of androgyny, the Universal. Technicolor light permeates beautifully through an array of non-divisible emotive color spectrums, the dream-like message of the song is driven by a simple drum machine, arps, and synthesizer magic'.

An English artist based in Berlin, Germany. With collaborations, remixes, and originals spanning far and wide across multiple labels, genres inc. exquisite disco, jazz-inspired cinematic spoken word to the very outer reaches of progressive cosmic rock. Contributing as an artist, singer, songwriter, and producer to labels inc; Leng, Soundcolours, Splinter, Eskimo Recordings, Boogie Angst, Kitsuné Records, Paper Recordings, Sunday Best, EMI Harvest (Pink Floyd), and his own varied imprint Amity. Notably, David's songwriting brought a cache of credibility to Nu Disco champion Satin Jackets 2019's album Solar Nights inc. the retrospectively smooth Shadow Of You, 35 million streaming success Northern Lights. David's voice, sharp songwriting, and tasteful productions have caught the attention of the music industry's finest to collaborate with and be remixed by. Building notoriety almost always outside of the mainstream view, David's collaborations portfolio a mix of legends and yet-to-be-discovered magicians. As true as the word collaborator can inspire to suggest, wandering the planet in search of fresh starts, humble partnerships, to discover the diamonds in the ruff.

Mix Collection

Amity Agora EP01 David Harks

The name “Agora” references the ancient Greek public gathering space — a forum where people came together to connect and exchange ideas.

This inaugural edition of Amity Agora drifts through warm, electronic-leaning soundscapes, where indie elegance meets cosmic lounge, gradually unfolding into a spiritual strain of modern downtempo. Showcasing a number of songs from Amity Recordings & Edition.

Opening with Rasmus Faber’s emotive Maudlin (Call It Home) followed by Bedounie’s hypnotic The Hum, teasing the listener into a world of shimmering textures and uplifting moods. David Harks’ presence anchors the journey, with dreamy cuts like Cosmic Star, playful Sensual Horseback, and the luminous up tempo The Dawn. Along the way, Otha’s confident One for the Girls, Bel Tempo’s tender Guide Me Through, and Sault’s soulful Angel add depth and heartfelt humanity - in the centre of agora.

Mid-set highlights include a re-imagined classic disco rework of Don’t Let Go, Ben Macklin remix of Blank & Jones with guest vocals from Malyyn and the romantic, coastal glide of Japanese Brit Max Essa project The Clean Trip – Magic Eyes, a wonderful rework from electronic producer Takovio with his own magic eyes on a Romantic Collection Mix. The show peaks in celestial glamour with Siracusa’s Strip Tease in the Stars closing with the breathy Italian dream Bocca by Space Whisper.

.
As a writer and artist, the compass of life carries us across winds, physically and digitally. The concept of amity has always been to discover and follow an ancient pathway, one invisible to current borders, defined by the collective community: sharing common understanding, verse, and knowledge with one another.
.
The concept of the agora gathers us in a meeting space from all walks of life. In ancient times, the city or town heard political voices, tales of magic, and song. Yet where does this platform for voice stand today? Physically, our town centres lie empty, and our digital portals provide limited online public access as gateways to universalism, voice, and community. Perhaps we can find each other internationally, as part of a digital community, through Amity Agora.
