European Championships and my last year as a U23 athlete are officially over. 🇪🇺

Going home with mixed feelings. On the one hand, becoming European Team Champion with these girls is something I’ll never forget. Thank you, girls, for making this experience so special. ❤️

A 7th place in the final is a result I can be proud of, even though there’s always a little part of me that wants more. Especially knowing that having my straps come undone in the final and completely losing control of my boat didn’t exactly help me reach the goals I had set for myself. But that’s sport sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

I’m incredibly grateful for all the experiences, the memories and the time I got to share here. 💕

✨ A few moments of my favorite memories at the World Championships. 🌍🤍

Even though it hurts to look back at a semifinal that I know I could have done soooo much better and even though I came home from kayak cross with a black eye instead of a medal 🥊🏅, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.

At the end of the day, it was the World Championships 🌎 Just having the opportunity to compete on that stage is something I’ll never take for granted. It’s the kind of moment little Amelie would have dreamed of and I know she would be incredibly proud. ❤️

Of course, I always want more. 💭 I always want to push further, be better and fight for those medals. But moments like these remind me that the journey matters just as much as the result. Every setback, every lesson, and every experience is shaping me into the athlete I want to become. ✨

Now it’s time to keep working. 💪 Let’s see what the rest of 2026 has in store...I know there’s still so much more in me, and I can’t wait to show it. ❤️‍🔥 taken in Kraków, Poland by @aml_plochmann

My first World Cup. 🫶

A week full of nerves, excitement, sweat, learnings and unforgettable moments.

I was definitely scared before the drop (slide 3😅), but that’s part of it. You show up, you do your best, and you learn.

Representing Germany is something I’m truly grateful for. Of course, there’s always another goal ahead, but sometimes you need to stop for a moment and appreciate what you’ve already achieved✨
