In the middle of my at-bat, the umpire accidentally called the third strike.

For a second, it looked like the at-bat was over… but I knew the count, stayed calm, and respectfully spoke up.

The at-bat continued.

First came a foul ball.
Then a passed ball allowed a runner from third to score.
A few pitches later… home run.

Everything that happened after the wrong call only happened because I stayed mentally locked in and never disconnected from the moment.

That’s why knowing the count matters.
That’s why focus matters.
One moment, one pitch, one decision can change everything.

Praise the Lord. Keep working. Stay focused. Play hard. Enjoy the game.

Showing up again.

Reps. Reps. Reps.

No shortcuts.
No luck.
No waiting for motivation.

Just showing up, putting in the work, and doing it again.

Built on reps. Driven by discipline.
Praise the Lord. Keep working. Stay focused. Play hard. Enjoy the game.

They asked: "Are you going to National Day Out?”
I said, “Yeah.” So here I am.
While the celebration was happening right next to us, Aaron was getting his work in.
Different kind of night out. Same place. Different purpose.

Every at-bat teaches you something. A home run or a strikeout, there’s always something to learn.
You adjust. You grow. You get better.
You can lose a game, but never the lesson.
You never lose. You always learn.

Today is Monday.
The scoreboard is 0–0 again.
What happened yesterday is over.
The wins. The mistakes. The good at-bats. The bad ones.
Reset. Overcome. Adapt.
New week. New opportunity. Same work.
0 Motivation.
100% Discipline.
0–0. Go earn it.

This is how we get it done. It’s a brotherhood.
We pray together. We laugh together. We compete together... And when it’s game time, we go to war together.
One team. One heart. One brotherhood.

Cus D’Amato once told Mike Tyson, “Your mind isn’t your friend, Mike. You have to fight it every single day in order to impose control over it. Otherwise, you are done.”

That is real. In baseball, your mind can make one strikeout feel like the whole game is over. It can turn one error into fear, one bad inning into panic, and one bad weekend into doubt. That is why mental toughness matters. You have to train your mind the same way you train your swing, your arm, your speed, and your body.

The players who last are not the ones who never fail. They are the ones who learn how to control their thoughts after failure. They breathe, adjust, compete, and get ready for the next pitch.

Because in baseball, the game moves forward whether your mind is ready or not. Control it, or it will control you.

Praise the Lord. Keep working. Stay focused. Play hard. Enjoy the game. Be a MASTERPIECE.

Great team win today for @dg29pro 13U, 10-2 against the Wildcatters. Much respect to both teams for competing hard.

Proud of these boys and grateful to the coaches for the time, work, and commitment they continue putting into this team. Every game is another opportunity for these kids to compete, learn, and grow together.

Aaron went 3-for-3 with 4 RBIs, including another deep shot that would have been a home run on a typical 13U field. We’re playing on a big-league field — 315 ft down the lines and 405 ft to center.
But today belongs to the team.

Keep pushing each other. Keep learning. Keep competing for each other. There’s still a lot of baseball ahead of us.
Hard work pays off.

Praise the Lord. Keep working. Stay focused. Play hard. Enjoy the game. ⚾️💪💥

Tournaments and championships are not won on game day. They are won in the long weeks of hard training before the game ever begins. They are built with discipline, consistency, and commitment to yourself and to your team.

If you get sick or miss a workout for any reason, make it up at another time. Do not let one missed session become two. Cut down the video games. Spend less time on the phone. Use that time to get stronger, sharper, and more prepared.

That is the formula. There is no shortcut and there is no substitute for the work. Praise the Lord. Keep working. Stay focused. Play hard. Enjoy the game.
