Cancun, MX
2026 🏝️😎

It was his first time coming on a Hanks family trip, and I’d say he fits right in😘

I can’t tell you how nice it was to unplug from work for a week and just relax 🍹🏖️☺️

Just fulfilling my funcle duties 🫡

Orange you glad to see us? 😅🩳

Probably my worst game of golf in years, but at least I was in good company. ⛳️

Got my first birdie… RIP 🐦 ☠️ ⛳️

The food was amazing!! And somehow we always accidentally ended up ordering too much food… (no, this is not the bird) 🤣

Hanks brother’s race…

I still got it 😎

The resort was lovely and quite huge! Pretty sure there were more pools and play areas I didn’t even make it to. 🏝️

We went out on a speed boat tour to enjoy the warm weather. 🚤 ☀️ When all of a sudden….

It started POURING rain on us halfway thru our speed boat tour and we got SOAKED 🌧️😅 Made for a good laugh tho!😅🤣

One of many beautiful sunsets we witnessed 🌅😍

BTS of family pictures 🤣🤣🤣

We’re like… kinda cool 💪🏼😎🤣

The family pictures turned out GREAT! Will be sharing them soon! 📸🙌🏼

Couldn’t have asked for a better family, a partner, and a vacation in Cancun. I love my family and am grateful for the life I get to live each and everyday. 🙏🏼💙 by @ammon_hanks

Hi, I’m Ammon!

I was born and raised in Kaysville, Utah, and now live in Salt Lake City, where I run my own business, Aligned Health, as a Sports Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer.

Growing up in Utah meant the outdoors were always close by. Camping, fishing, hiking, and exploring were a huge part of my childhood, and that love for being outside has only grown stronger.

I’ve visited National Parks across Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Arizona, and beyond, but Zion holds a special place for me. The sheer scale of the rock formations is both humbling and exciting. No matter how many trails I explore there, it always feels like there is more waiting to be discovered.

The outdoors has also played a huge role in my mental health. There was a time when I struggled deeply with loneliness, fear, shame, and figuring out my own value and purpose.

During those moments, getting outside gave me enough distance from everything that felt overwhelming to breathe again. Even a little time surrounded by nature helped me feel grounded and reconnect with hope. That hope carried me through some of the darkest periods of my life.

A lot of my adventures now are shared with my best friend and boyfriend, Wes, @wesdaybell. We met at a BBQ in 2022, became friends, and started dating the following year.

As much as I love the outdoors, he may love it even more. His excitement for nature is contagious. We hike, longboard trails, and bring our English Cream Retriever whenever we can, even if keeping that white coat clean afterward is a losing battle.

If I could tell my younger self anything, it would be this:

Nothing is wrong with you. You are not broken. You belong. The kind of love you’re hoping for exists, but make sure you learn to give yourself that love too.

Next up, Wes and I are hoping to spend the winter on the snowy slopes Utah has to offer. If you’re into snowboarding, longboarding, paddleboarding, or just getting outside, we’re always down for more adventure buddies. 🏳️‍🌈🥾🏜️

I can’t go into this weekend without sharing about last weekend.

Hyrox SLC was more than I expected. The energy was electric. My team was incredible. And I’ve been bit by the Hyrox-bug😜

Training with my crew these last few weeks has been so fun and be sure to catch us on another Hyrox course in 2027 💪🏼
