✨I feel like Nicole✨ by @amnarissaf
OFFICIALLY A MARATHONER 🏅🤩 I’m definitely struggling to process yesterday. I wished everything went so much differently, but having the cards stacked against you shows you the true levels of grit that’s within you. I woke up feeling off, didn’t sleep a wink, had bloodshot eyes, had to double bra it due to my luteal phase(iykyk), and the weather was AWFUL. We started the race with them yellow flagging the course for moderate conditions, but by time I made it to mile 10 they had already red flagged it. I trained so hard for a sub 4 but knew how dangerous it was for my body and had to dial it way far back and ended up with a 4:25. Nothing sucks more than working so hard for something and not getting a chance to actually prove what you can do. I’m trying to remind myself that I still ran a marathon and that’s all that matters and think of the fact that I’m so lucky to be a part of that 1% club. Sub 4, I’m still coming for you 🫡 by @amnarissaf
