Today marks 17 years since we lost you. Every year around this time the events of those 9 days play out in my head. I find myself thinking “What if?” I really had to plan a funeral at 23 years old, which was crazy. I see you in each of our kids. Javion does the head tilt that you did, Jayla has your smile and chin dimple, and Jayden is your twin. I honestly don’t know how but I’ve been doing it. It hasn’t always been easy, but I know you’re proud. Im so proud the kids and can’t wait to see where they go. A huge shoutout to the BackStoppers, his family, and friends, who continue to show up for us and support us. You always said that if something happened to you that the kids and I would be taken care of and you were right. 💙💙🖤🖤Continue to rest and watch over us. by @amo4show

First time trying Pilates!

I stopped by Club Pilates in Creve Coeur for my very first class, and I had such a nice experience! I got to learn a little more about Pilates, try something completely new, and see what all the hype is about. 🙌🏽

I definitely enjoyed stepping outside of my comfort zone and trying something different. 💕 Would you try Pilates?

Last year, my birthday looked a lot different. I was in a really low place and honestly didn’t feel like celebrating at all.

This year, I told myself I couldn’t let another birthday pass without celebrating ME. Not just another year of life, but everything I’ve made it through, everything I’ve accomplished, and the person I’m continuing to become.

I’m proud of myself. Proud of the growth. Proud of the things I’ve accomplished, even the ones nobody else sees. And most of all, I’m grateful to be here, surrounded by so much love from my kids, my friends, and the people who genuinely care about me. ❤️

Life hasn’t always gone the way I imagined it would, but there is still so much beauty in it. And this year, I’m choosing to celebrate that.

Here’s to another trip around the sun, more memories, more growth, more laughter, more love, and giving myself the same love I’m always so willing to give everyone else.

Happy Birthday to me. Ayyee! #birthdaygirl #chapter40 by @amo4show

Dave’s Hot Chicken finally made its way to Florissant, MO!So of course I had to stop by and see what the hype was about!

It was PACKED, but the service was good, the atmosphere was a vibe, and overall I really enjoyed the food. 🙌🏽 The mac & cheese wasn’t really for me, but everything else? I’d definitely order again!

Would I go back? For sure!

POV: you finally booked that solo trip out of the country. 🙌🏽 I got to admit I was super nervous, but things are so much better when you step out of your comfort zone.
