Sometimes the most productive thing you can do for your business is absolutely NOTHING!

Yep. I said it! I'm suggesting you STOP for a moment and do absolutely NOTHING! 🌴

No emails.
No social media.
No endless to-do lists.

Just YOU enjoying LIFE!

For me, that meant escaping to the beautiful Bahamas with my amazing husband! 💕

Turquoise waters, sunshine, relaxation and absolutely NO business agenda!

Just time to RECHARGE, REFRESH and enjoy the moment.

And maybe even dream a little about what's NEXT!

Because success isn't just about the business you're building.

It's about the LIFE you're creating along the way!

And THAT is what I call living a ShePowered® LIFE! 🌟

Now tell me… when was the last time YOU completely unplugged and just enjoyed life? by @amondarose

I AM SO HAPPY! No more horses and people dying from this. I will be even happier when I know New York City ensures all the horses are in good loving homes!

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I'm calling out some women speakers today. 😗

And I'm doing it because I KNOW we can do better.

Recently, I've watched several women deliver presentations.

Here's what I witnessed:
#1: A speaker pacing back and forth so much it distracted from her message.
#2: A speaker admitting she prepared her presentation on the plane, missed the organizers deadline...
and then read her talk from index cards because she hadn't prepared.
#3: A speaker whose entire presentation was her personal story, with no meaningful takeaways for the audience.
#4: And another whose disjointed and unclear sentences made her message difficult to understand.

Here's why this matters so much to me…
After more than 20 years of coaching new and emerging speakers, I've seen what happens when a woman learns to truly OWN her message and deliver it in a way that is clear, captivating and compelling.

She doesn't just become a better speaker.
She becomes someone people remember, trust and want to hear MORE from.

And that's what I want for every woman who steps in front of an audience.

These were intelligent, accomplished women with valuable messages to share.

And many felt they were already comfortable speaking in front of an audience.

But being COMFORTABLE speaking and being EFFECTIVE at speaking are two very different things.

And if we want to be SEEN as experts, we need to start DELIVERING our expertise like experts.

Speaking is a CRAFT. It deserves preparation, practice, honest feedback and continuous improvement.

Whether you're speaking at a networking event, delivering a 15-minute presentation or leading a 90-minute workshop, your audience deserves your best.

And so does your message!

Being a GOOD speaker is wonderful.
But why stop at good when you have the potential to be EXCEPTIONAL?

I'm curious…

Have you ever received honest, constructive feedback on your speaking?

What difference did it make for YOU?

Connections, Collaborations & Friendships are such a BIG part of the ShePowered Speaking Event. 💕

I finally had a chance to share a few pics highlighting some of the incredible relationships that are already blooming from #ShePoweredSpeaking.

Women supporting women. Cheering each other on. Sharing ideas. Making introductions.

And sometimes meeting someone who you just KNOW is going to be part of your world long after the event is over. 🥰

Some of my favorite moments happen between the training and coaching, when I look around the room and see new connections being made.
Because you never know where one conversation can lead. 💕

And I have a feeling some pretty amazing things are going to come from the connections made in this room!

Last week I had the honor of sitting on the Leadership Panel at SHEpowered, and I’m still buzzing.

Two days in a room full of women who are done playing small. Women stepping into their speaking voices, some for the very first time, some ready for bigger stages than they ever imagined.

That’s the moment I live for. The moment a woman realizes her voice isn’t something to manage or hide. It’s her most powerful leadership asset.

Huge thanks to AmondaRose for creating a space where women don’t just learn to speak, they claim the stage.

And a bonus gift: I reconnected with Christine Catoggio, who co-authored Her Bold Voice with me. There’s something special about crossing paths again with a woman who shares your mission. We picked up right where we left off.

To every woman I met: keep speaking. Your story is someone else’s permission slip.

If you’re ready for bigger stages, whether that’s a keynote, a panel, or a TEDx talk, send me a message. Let’s get your bold voice out into the world. 👇 by @amondarose

There’s something happening next week that I wish more women understood about speaking...

You do NOT have to be a professional speaker to benefit from becoming a powerful one.

If you lead meetings, host workshops, talk to potential clients, go LIVE, record videos, attend networking events, lead a team or simply need to communicate the value of what you do...

You're already a speaker.

The question is what happens when people hear you.

Do they lean in?
Do they remember you?
Do they trust your expertise?
Do they want to know more?

That's what we're going to work on next week at ShePowered Speaking.

Not just how to “give a good presentation.”

How to use your voice and expertise to create more impact, opportunities, clients and revenue.

And we're going to have a LOT of fun doing it. 😉

September 22–23 | Hutchinson Island, Florida

If you've been thinking, “I'm not really a speaker...”

or "I want to work on my speaking"

I would clear my calendar, save your spot and join us at ShePowered Speaking Event 2026. 💕 by @amondarose

One week. And THIS room is about to come to life. 💕

ShePowered Speaking isn't about sitting in a chair for two days taking notes.

We're going to practice. Get coached. Make connections.

Strengthen how you speak AND how you use speaking to create more opportunities, clients and revenue.

And we're going to have a whole lot of fun doing it.

September 22–23. Are you joining us?

Have you ever watched a 3-year-old try to get something they REALLY want?

Because it’s genuinely impressive. 😂

They walk right up to you.
Look you straight in the eye.
And announce...
“I WANT THAT.”

No weak opening.
No rambling.
No 14-slide PowerPoint explaining the background. 😂

You have absolutely NO question what they want.

And if you say no?

Ohhhh...now the presentation really gets good.

They’ll explain WHY they need it.
Change their tone.
Repeat the important parts.
Maybe even throw in a story about how EVERY OTHER KID has one. 😂

Think about it...
Eye contact. Clear message. Conviction. Audience engagement. Strong call to action.

That kid just nailed half the things grown adults struggle with when they speak.

Then somewhere along the way, we grow up...

And start worrying about where to put our hands, whether we sound smart enough, whether people are judging us, and whether we should memorize everything.

Speaking suddenly gets WAY more complicated and necessary for our business growth.

And that’s exactly why I created the ShePowered Speaking Event.
September 22–23, we’re going to work on the speaking skills that help you become more confident, captivating and compelling every time you open your mouth to speak.

And we’re not just going to TALK about it.

You’ll practice it. Experience it. And get coached on it.

In honor of all my Soul Sisters and Dearest Friends who have been speaking their truth and sharing what is on their heart...

but losing friends and followers over it, I am taking a stand for you.

You are here to let your inside beauty shine through and share what your heart leads you to share... no matter what anyone thinks.

True friends want you to be YOU and express all of you!

Never stop being YOU!

Your Authentic Vibe Attracts Your Authentic Tribe...

including friends, fans, clients and followers

I honor you and want you to know you are always supported by me.

You know who you are, and I LOVE YOU <3

#shepowered #womensupportingwomen #authenticity #vibe #soulsisters by @amondarose

ou've been to that event.

Cried during the keynote. Bought the journal. Hugged your new "soul sisters."

Then flew home and went right back to the life you were trying to change.

Nothing shifted. Inspiration was never the problem.

20+ years in the speaking industry and I watched it happen to brilliant women over and over.

Great content, zero long lasting change.

Because most events don't include implementation experiences so you you utilize what you just learned on the spot...

and nobody taught them to handle long term what actually gets in their way...

So I built the ShePowered Speaking Event.

This isn't just about learning to up level your speaking...

It's becoming a woman success story where ambition and ease, aren't at war with anymore.

Where powerful speaking skills come with a mindset shift built in, so it actually holds once you're home.

Not an event that fades by the weekend. A speaking shift that sticks.|

What's the ONE thing you're finally going to do in your speaking?

👇 One word. Go.
