Lisa + Brian ❤️

This couple contracted with me with just a little over a month to plan this fabulous celebration.

We had an intimate ceremony at The Redwood Deck, with a Duo string performance and a surprise bagpiper.

We then proceeded to their personal residence to have their reception. A band, incredible BBQ, DJ, beautiful cakes, and great friends and family surrounded this couple with so much love and happiness. It was such an honor putting all of these pieces together and working with all these fabulous vendors.

And with Ranger-puppy, too!

Unpopular opinion: Your wedding planner doesn't need to be Type A to be damn good at her job.

I'm not here to color-code your entire existence, stress over a napkin fold, or make wedding planning feel like a second full-time job.

I'm here to make your life easier.

You can be laid-back AND know exactly what you're doing.

You can go with the flow AND have a solid plan.

You can be the calmest person in the room because you've already thought three steps ahead.

Low stress. No ego. We've got this.

Dreaming about this gorgeous wedding forever! They got married on their family’s blueberry farm in Oregon. It was raining all day, but the sun came out just for their ceremony. The whole thing was perfect!

Things I will never tell a bride to do:

Invite someone just because you feel guilty.

Spend money on something you genuinely don’t care about because “everyone does it.”

Have a huge wedding when what you really want is an intimate one.

Change your entire vision because someone else has an opinion.

Spend your wedding day worrying about whether everyone else is having a good time.

Follow a wedding trend just because it’s trending.

Pretend you’re not stressed when you are.

Your wedding doesn't have to impress everyone.

It should feel like you.

And sometimes the best planning advice is knowing what you don't need to do. by @amorecoordination

Your wedding day goes by fast.

After months of planning, decisions, emails, appointments and a million little details, suddenly it's here, and then it's over.

My job is to make sure you're not spending those few hours worrying about what's happening next.

I'm watching the timeline.
I'm communicating with vendors.
I'm handling the little problems.
I'm making adjustments when things don't go exactly according to plan.

You shouldn't have to.

You should be with your people. You should be on the dance floor. You should be enjoying the day you spent so much time planning.

After 13+ years and more than 250 weddings, I know that things don't have to go perfectly for a wedding to be amazing.

They just need to be handled.

That's what we do at Amore.
