We fell in love with film & TV because once upon a time, studios took chances. Demascus proves bold, original storytelling still matters.

Thank you @Tubi for giving this show a home when others wouldn’t. That choice wasn’t just programming.
it was an act of faith in creativity, in risk taking, in the future of real cinema on television. And it paid off.

Viewers love this show not just for what happens on screen, but for what it stands for: a belief that art is worth backing. Real cinema is alive. Let’s keep going.🙌🏽🤞🏾
Maybe Demascus is just the first domino the beginning of a shift back toward the kind of storytelling that made us all fall in love with this art form in the first place. #Demascus #tubi by @amosblackmon

One of the questions I get asked the most is “what about two takes” so I thought we would do one showing you a costar audition and examples of two takes we would have submitted based on the breakdown below 🎭.

WAITER/WAITRESS — 20s-40s, Open Ethnicity, Open Gender. A server caught in the middle of an awkward couple’s argument. CO-STAR.

Please submit two takes with different choices. #casting #audition #acting #actress #actingchallenge by @amosblackmon

Daejon Love not the only scammer😅
I’ve been blessed to work on multiple national commercials lately, and I’m grateful to finally share them. I genuinely don’t take any of these opportunities for granted. Thank you, Marriott Bonvoy, for an incredible experience. Eagles fans, this might have been the most challenging role I’ve ever played, and I played Kanye’s publicist. Not kidding. #Eagles #NFL #marriottbonvoy by @amosblackmon

New commercial out!! 🙏🏾

Had way too much fun shooting this one with @snickers and the hilarious Eric André directing. Definitely one of those sets where you’re reminded how lucky you are to get to do this for a living.

If you see the commercial out in the wild, tag me, send it to me, repost it… I wanna see where this thing pops up!
Super grateful to everybody who had a hand in this one. More to come.

No joke, the most embarrassing moment of my life was when I auditioned as a professional basketball player. (Commercial for LeBron James ) I got there and realized I had to perform in front of real basketball scouts, doing layups, half-court shots, three-pointers, and dribbling drills. When I tell y’all I’m trash... I’m TRASH. And we all just had to sit through it because they wouldn’t let me leave. I had to finish the entire workout. It could’ve been the most embarrassing moment of my life. All because I decided to lie on my résumé and say I was an expert(YMCA average at best) All these guys were semi-pro, D-League, or former college athletes, and then there was me….a 5’6” Black guy who WRESTLED!!! I could barely make a layup. Never lying on my Actor Access again.#actor #selftape #acting #laughoutloud by @amosblackmon
