The cost of the oil. ⬇️⬇️

Reality is, life is hard. It’s harder when you’re a Christian because you’re now experiencing the pain Jesus had to feel. The weight on His shoulders of sin He contributed nothing to. We were born into sin, and our flesh is controlled by it. Becoming one with Christ sets you free from that sin, but it doesn’t give you a pass on the effects of a fallen world. I always heard I was anointed by God, but I know this to be true after various trials and tribulations. I was the one lost sheep that God went after. I struggle with many things daily, but I know that my father is rooting me on and equipping me. Everyday I’m grateful for where God has brought me from. I can live today without fear because I know my redeemer lives. Jesus is truly the way. Though I face many trials on earth, I have assurance that I’m a victor over every obstacle standing before me. It’s easy to look at my life and assume that things are all good and dandy. Dandy is a funny word😭😭. Anyways, it’s easy to say that, but in reality it’s the Joy of the Lord that is my strength. My reason to push. Life only begins after death. Jesus, is welcoming you to a peaceful life with Him. Our time here on earth is limited. Lord, may my worship be as a sweet aroma to you. I was once lost, but now I’m found. Thank you. I’ll pay the cost, anyday. Because you make it worth it. ABBA Father, my lover, my redeemer, my one true hope. I love you, and thank you for loving me as imperfect as I am. by @amour.joetta
