From PR, I joined an old friend whom is dear to my heart in Portugal. Together we explored the humbling beauty of nature in Madeira; an island made possible by a dormant volcano who has nourished a land so beautiful and bountiful, and a people so kind and so gracious. I love the way they hold on to their roots, and deeply admire the wholesome community that has managed to maintain the very delicate balance between the old and the new.
From Madeira we flew to Lagos… and basked under the raw beauty of Portugal’s Algarve region with scenic cliffs and crystal clear beaches.

On our last night, as i reflected on the beauty of Portugal, and the past couple of weeks, there just seemed something magnificent about the country, the culture, its people, and of course, the unwinding glass of Adega Mãe Chardonnay, under a Lagos sunset with the familiarity and warmth of an old friend. Life indeed is about who you share it with.
