I miss this one! It has gone to a new home. Maybe i'll just paint it again one day.. This was after i just varnished it, so beautiful how the colors came to life again 💚

I am painting this on a canvas that my grandmother never got to use. Sadly, she died in 2016. She was a fine-art artist and mainly used oilpaint. These flowers remind me of the many many bouquets she painted.. and other still-lives and landscapes. When she died, I inherited her easel, brushes, oil paint, and some empty canvases. I had never tried oil paint or painting portraits before. I just started one day and it turned out better than i could have hoped for. And the best part.. I had so much fun doing it! There are many times when i think, "If only she was still here, so i would be able to ask her some questions about painting".. Unfortunately, she never got to see what I did with her paint or her canvases. But if she could, I'm sure she would be happy and proud😊❤️
