Writing with people you’ve just met can feel daunting at first. Once you’re in the room, it often becomes one of the most useful things you can do as a songwriter.

If you’ve only ever written alone, this is a good place to start.

Money and contracts are the parts of a music career most artists learn the hard way. We’ve seen how much it helps when someone explains them clearly and early.

If you’ve ever signed a contract you didn’t fully understand or have found it hard to keep track of what you earn from music, this session is for you.

Introducing Amplify Dōjō, our new online masterclass series for independent musicians.

Since 2021, we’ve been hosting workshops as part of Amplify Music Incubator, and they’ve made a real difference for our alumni. We felt it was time to open them up to more people, as bite-sized masterclasses.

Whether you’re just starting out or have been making music for years, as an artist, songwriter, producer or someone working in the industry, these sessions are for you. Each one is led by people we know well and have learned a lot from ourselves.

Our first set of masterclasses:

→ Financial Planning for your Music Career with @derelict13
→ Rewire: The Voice Is Who You Are, with @maheshmusic
→ Abundance Mindset for Artists with @anamcararetreats_in
→ Collaborative Songwriting with @baba.tan.tan

Swipe through for the calendar and details on each session.

Artist Wellbeing is not singular.

It’s layered and complex, and it means something different to every artist. So we take a different approach, one that lets each artist find out what it means for them.

We’re so happy to have @anamcararetreats_in supporting us in building this part of the program, which is integral to everything we do. Together we bring in movement meditation, sound journeys, yoga, breathwork, meditation, and conversations that support an artist’s spiritual, physical, emotional and financial growth.

We’re also lucky to have friends like @gayatideman & @ox7gen who always support our cause.

Remember, the road to equilibrium is long, but the journey is the most interesting part. It’s where you get to know yourself truly, deeply and gently.

The @amplify.india South Showcase came to Mumbai, at one of our favourite venues, @bonobobandra.

This was the first edition of the AMI South program, and also the first time these artists from Tamil Nadu & Kerala got to showcase their music in the city. And we can proudly say, these artists owned the stage.

As a program, we’re constantly looking for ways to open up opportunities for artists so they can grow and find their pathways forward, and the showcase is an important part of that.

The first class of AMI South has now officially graduated, and we’re going to be backing them all the way.
