A little behind the scenes on why we teach what we teach. Heart space is a phrase you'll hear a lot around here at Amplify! When we dance, we lift through our upper body, open through our chest, and let the light shine from the heart. But it also goes deeper than that. It's also about moving with intention, letting yourself be seen, and letting a little more of you come through every time you move. Because the way we dance is connected to the way we live and how we show up well. Dance has a way of making us feel like we should always be doing more. Turning more. Jumping higher. Moving faster. Getting the next skill. Being better than we were yesterday. But progress doesn’t always happen in big, noticeable moments. Sometimes it’s the tiny adjustment in your technique. The extra bit of strength you’ve built. The correction you finally understand. The confidence to try again after failing. The vulnerability you have finally tapped into. The moment you realize something that once felt impossible is starting to feel a little easier. Those small moments are progress. Your journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Some seasons will bring huge breakthroughs, while others may feel slow and frustrating. But even in the slow seasons, you are learning, growing, strengthening, and becoming a better dancer. So celebrate the small wins. Trust the process. Give yourself grace. You don’t have to get there all at once. Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. Keep taking the next step. Bring a Friend Week is coming!  Next week, September 8th–10th, we’re inviting our dancers to bring a friend along to class and share the joy of dance!  Whether they’ve danced before or are brand new to the studio, we’d love for them to join us. It’s the perfect opportunity to introduce a friend to our studio, let them experience a class, and most importantly—have FUN dancing together! 📅 Bring a Friend Week: September 8–10 Have your dancer invite a friend and come ready to dance, laugh, and make some memories! They will need to register online and put themselves in as a free trial (right under the class name)! It's that easy! This does not include the classes that are full (Tuesday Tiny Sparks and Wednesday Little Lumens Hip Hop) We can’t wait to meet all of your friends and share our love of dance with them!
