Yesterday, my heart broke in a way I have dreaded my whole life. My daddy went to be with Jesus. 💔

He was the first man I ever loved, the one who will always hold a place in my heart that no one else could ever fill. I’m going to miss him more than words could ever say. My loss is unique because HE was my daddy. My one and only. I was his angel and now he is mine.
As much as my heart hurts, I find comfort knowing that he is no longer in pain. He is whole, he is at peace, and he is in the presence of Jesus. I don’t know how I’m going to do this without him. I don’t know how to navigate a world where I can’t call him, hear his voice, or hug him again. But I know this: God has promised to be near to the brokenhearted, and right now I am holding tightly to that promise.

Happy 29th Birthday Hayden!
We couldn’t be more proud of the man you’ve become..the best girl dad, loving husband, father, son, brother and grandson, hard worker, and dedicated man of God. Watching your dedication and commitment throughout your residency has been so inspiring. We see how hard you work and the sacrifices you make, and we admire you more than you know.

She said YES! 💍🤍

Long before we knew who God had planned for our daughter, we were praying for him. We prayed for the man who would love her, lead her, protect her, and walk beside her in faith. We didn’t know his name, his face, or when God would bring him into her life but God knew all along. Watching this moment unfold feels like seeing one of our prayers answered right before our eyes. What a beautiful reminder that God’s timing is always perfect, and His plans are always greater than ours.
We are so thankful for the man God chose for our girl and so excited to welcome Landon into our family. We love you both beyond words and cannot wait to watch God write the rest of your story. 🤍💍
