My first year @ school some professors would ask..what brought us to Miles..A lot of us would say band & they encouraged us not to tell people that. Band! My love for music, my passion for playing, my God given talent is what brought me to Miles @profsnipes thank you for believing in me! Band guided me through for 5 years, I wouldn’t be who or where I am today without the Purple Marching Machine! LOVE DA BAND!

Everyday counts & everyday matters. If you ask me what my mindset was when I was 18 leaving home for college. Definitely not where it is now 🤣..naive. As I grow, I ask God for clear vision as I journey through life. Everyday. I ask for fear to be removed. Doubt. Uncertainty. Misunderstanding. I give thanks for the bad days bcuz they build character. I’m thankful for the presence of living energy that surrounds us, even when the room or world feels empty.

When time does feel like it’s standing still, I dive into my arts, for the people who truly know me. I have many skills & passions that I love & appreciate butttttt I LOVE MUSIC! 😂

I’ve also been into poetry for a long time!!! I have always had an admiration for anything literary based, so to my poets 🫶🏾☀️! Happy Poetry Month! What better way to end April?!

My first ever Pilates class, first ever aerial based class as well. I honestly just feel overjoyed when I’m able to tap into the things I’ve been wanting to do. 🥹 this was so much fun!

Don’t mind me..working on my Florida ☀️ knees for the summer 🥹.. but nah I’m actually working on mobility in my right knee..people speak about tearing their ACL or meniscus if not both (like I did) but no one actually shares the truth behind what happens after recovery. You have a permanent imperfection in your ligaments and joints, yes you can exercise, bulk up, and strengthen it. But you will always feel that it’s not as it used to be, you can hear your joints pop, you can feel it stretching like a tender piece of meat when it stiffens up. Some days it’s swollen and just in pain. Some days it hates extra pressure and weight, which is why I don’t lift. My way of exercise is through stretching, dancing, and calisthenics.

*do not own rights to song*
