2nd half of summer, where did you go?☀️ Time with friends and family • the end of my “8th grade to Senior year” small group I love! • Wedding planning for our BRIDE! • Good Food • FCA camp! • Family reunion • moving C&C to new places! • Saying goodbye to my wonderful friend and BEST running partner @megankingsley77 🥲• supervising mint making! 🤣 • and last but BEST…celebrating 32 years of marriage with my fave @davidsnell31 !!!! So proud of our RN!!! 👩‍⚕️ In the last month, Caroline graduated, passed her Nursing Boards exam, volunteered as a Camp Nurse for her church’s youth retreat, finished her summer babysitting, moved to Birmingham, and has now worked over a week at UAB Hospital! Continuous celebrations in the month of May….our beautiful, sweet nieces graduating high school, Mothers Day with both Moms, CC’s birthday, celebration of life for our friend and SCHS football Coach, GT and Braves baseball, multiple end of school year events and shows. No way to document it all. Thankful for another great school year at BMS. Teaching is no easy job, but I love my students and I get to work with an amazing group of people all day every day. A whole weekend of celebrating Caroline, our Auburn School of Nursing Graduate! 👩‍🎓 👩‍⚕️ Pinning ceremony (where she presented an award to AUsome Nursing friends!), Beach House Grad Brunch party, Graduation, and family meals at the farm! 🧡 We thought we could never love Auburn more than we already did, but these last 5 years have been so special and we are now an Auburn Alum household that holds this lovely village, and every friend and memorable moment it brought, in our hearts forever! Our Sweet Caroline will soon be graduating from Auburn College of Nursing, and we could not be more proud of her accomplishing this dream goal! She is an absolute GRINDER, tenacious and focused yet so tender in heart and others centered. She has put in countless hours of studying as well as clinical hours in multiple hospitals in multiple cities, with hours of traveling each way on little sleep and lots of coffee! ☕️ 🤪 She has completed both an internship last summer and her Preceptorship this spring in the ICU at CHOA and has been offered job opportunities in both Atlanta and Birmingham. She has chosen a position in the NICU at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, and we know that she will be such a blessing to the families she will serve there as she cares for those precious babies!
