The London haul, very happy I managed to keep my suitcase in the right weight class. Awesome time at For the Love of Fantasy, always great to see everyone again. Even though I am just the plus 1 these people always make me feel welcome.

Still can't believe I met Sir Ian McKellen, and the hobbits, but mostly Sir Ian Mckellen. Thanks @aivy88 for convincing me to go with you and put down the money for the picture.

As always I had to go by Forbidden Planet for comics, went to Gay's the Word for awesome new books, went and saw the new Disney musical Hercules and went to the ABBA Voyage, we sang along to all their awesome songs while being tricked into thinking they really were on the stage.

All in all a good few days away. Now back to the real world with all that entails! by @amy_mandarijntje

Exactly one year ago, I was having the best day of my life. It was the start of a new adventure which has only brought me more love and joy, more than I could ever imagine. @aivy88 how happy I am to be able to call you my wife. You truly make me the happiest person in this world and I couldn't have asked for a better wife, partner and adventure teammate for the rest of our lives. 🥰😘

P.s. I will try to work on my picture taking skills, I have a whole life ahead of me to practice 😉 by @amy_mandarijntje

Some more New Zealand Snapshots, our trip is almost over and we are going into our last day(s)here. Cannot believe we are flying home in +/- 36 hours.

Kia Ora! We have been on our honeymoon for 8 days now and have seen amazing nature, animals and are learning so many things!

I cannot tell my rights from my lefts, driving on the left is not as hard as I thought, me and my wife have a difference in tolerance for the camping life but when you park your van and only have to put your chairs outside to enjoy the view, that is when you know life is good.

Time is moving fast and we are still just on the North Island, with so much more to see and do.

This truly is an adventure, one I wouldn't have been able to take without my wife @aivy88 Love you too infinity and beyond! by @amy_mandarijntje

2 months ago I had the most amazing day ever. My family and all my friends were there. We all put on our best clothes and shared a drink and a laugh. And that was before my beautiful wife said she really wanted to stay with me forever! 🥰

Lief, it is an honor to be able to call you my wife, wifey or nootje (I stole that one from you 🤫) I cannot wait to see what our next adventure brings us! It is getting pretty close now and I cannot wait to experience it with you!! 🌈

So as people might have known, I have been stressed for a couple of weeks because we were getting ready for our wedding!

And finally last Saturday 05-08-2023 I was able to say yes to the most beautiful 😍😍 woman in the entire world, and she agreed to be my wife as well!! Thanks for saying yes @aivy88 I love you to infinity and beyond! 🥰

I have had a whole team that helped me get ready, my mom and dad, my sister who wore many hats, bridesmaid, witness and honorary flower girl while my sweet nephew was the one spreading the flowers.

@eline_vy who was also my witness and who helped decorate and calm my nerves before the big moment.

@fleuahr and @mattna92 for being the best bridespeople in the world, for the hype, for the shots and for everything else!

@sabrinaverver bedankt voor de overheerlijk taart! Waar we nog lang van gaan nagenieten!

@spyvox I don't know how you guys managed it but we are so happy the huge pride flag did not fall down, I do believe you are at least one person to thank for that!!

@biabsn who crossed a freaking ocean for me and had a jetlag from hell and stayed for the party and who I still think haven't hugged enough!

Maren and Michi who crossed the border for me and I also haven't hugged enough!! Next meet up is in Berlin 😉

My friends who have been there for me since highschool; Anne, @maradiks @ilonazier , @meryem.xyz I love you guys so much🥰🥰🥰

How I love all these people! So Saturday was my bachelorette party. Of course I had to put on some silly clothes, I didn't care because of the awesome people around me!!

Team rainbow went off road driving and spend some time shooting at each other with arrows!

And of course, even with +30 degrees, no one took it easy so afterwards everyone was absolutely beaten but nothing a few drinks couldn't fix. Of course I had to take a tequila shot, guess which picture conveys my feeling about that.

And afterwards we had some drinks and my beautiful future wife turned up!
