Hi friends. 13 years ago my neighbor tried to kill me, so I made an art about it. If you would like to support this art, I’d be forever grateful. Link in bio. “In the aftermath of an unexpected encounter with a violent person, Evvy is just trying to get back to work. But now she has a wound, and the world around her may never be normal again…or maybe it never was. Inspired by a true story, Shells is an absurdist dark comedy utilizing puppetry and physical humor about coping with the farce and devastation of gun violence in an increasingly chaotic reality.” Poster featuring a woman with their head melting into a rainbow colored mess for a play called Shells coming September 2026 taken in Los Angeles, California by @amyamnesia

“I knew I wanted to create some kind of acknowledgement of the enormity of lives lost to gun violence in the United States and I thought taking the number of people killed just in the brief time between the start of our rehearsals and opening night and representing that visually”

Come see Shells this Saturday night and be treated to a rousing discussion of writing from trauma between myself and the multi-hyphenate force of nature @marywallwashere @rogue_artists @greenwaycourttheatre side note: at first I was slightly offended that Instagram suggested “Season of the Witch” for this post, but honestly yes - I embrace this. Witches forever. by @amyamnesia

This old lady is pretty impressed with the kids these days. @daisychainfields was incredibly impressive - all props to @oliviarodrigo - despite being hotter than the surface of the sun. And my bestie @marywallwashere continues to blow my mind with what she’s able to do - whether she knows how to do it or not. taken in Great Park of Irvine by @amyamnesia

Ensemble representation at the first read of Shells earlier this month! 🎭

We're just weeks away from our opening of Shells which is pretty dang exciting but I'm even more excited to say that after just 4 days we are halfway to our fundraising goal! 👏🏽🤩🎉 We are so shocked and grateful for this amazing initial showing of support! 💗

We've got 25 days left and it would mean the world to this little community of artists for your support! Link is in bio if you've got a few spare bucks but also just sharing is such a help 🖤✨ Link in bio

Swipe to see more fantastic people and puppets you will be supporting ➡️

This is my new best friend, Charles. Sure he's a wound of nightmares, but he's also just a cute 'lil guy who's my son.

He was designed and fabricated by the wildly talented @kelsey.kato with support from @sienajeakle and Osiris GP (who was @rogue_artists LA County Arts Intern last year 🎉

Poster design by the amazing artist @theoldman_bones who will also be bringing Charles to life in the play!

Could not be more grateful for my badass team of ladies steering the Shells ship!
