An amazing weekend to see Landslide Lake. We hiked through a rainstorm and spent two chilly nights in the mountains for these amazing views and awesome trails. Vancouver Island never disappoints 💖 #getoutside #explorebc #hiking #mountains #backpacking Foster (Burg) Lake selfie View from Burg Lake to Landslide Lake Elkhorn Mountain Ice Caves at Burg Lake Campsite for the weekend Mt. 13 years of RIGBY!! This cross country adventure snuggle cat wiggle baby extraordinaire has been through so much in our time together and I'm grateful for every second with this fluffy guy. He's the reason I get out of bed in the morning and the light through the dark parts of my life. I've never bonded with an animal the way I have with him, he is my whole heart and soul. Anyone who knows me knows how much love I have for this precious baby boy and today is just another reason to give Rigby all the love I have. Happy birthday buddy boy, here's to another year with you by my side 💖✨💖 by @amyb.709

First attempt at completing the Juan de Fuca trail, Botanical → Sombrio. While I didn't finish the entire hike I learned a lot and made some really cool connections and saw some beautiful coastal scenery. I can't wait to finish this one in 2027! #getoutside #explorebc #hiking #vancouverisland #ocean by @amyb.709
Summiting Mount Albert Edward. 2093m, the tallest mountain I've climbed to date. It was super challenging but so rewarding. The views are unreal and the experience is incredible. It was a great time with some great people, and I'm grateful to live in such a beautiful corner of the world 💖 #getoutside #explorebc #hiking #backpacking #backcountry by @amyb.709
Kusam Kilm Trail 2026 What an absolute grind. ~1400m elevation gain over ~6km. This summer has been all about building strength and endurance and pushing myself to physical and mental limits. I'm finally exploring more the island I've called home for 6 years and I'm loving every inch of it. Adventure always awaits ✨ #getoutside #explorebc #hiking #mountains #vancouverisland by @amyb.709
