Thomas Magnum was born in the desert on September 27th, 2014. He made his way into our lives and our hearts in November of that year when we met him in the parking lot of a Riverside Starbucks. He pushed past his sibling and scurried out of his crate and into our arms. The love was instantaneous. He quickly revealed his willful and determined personality - traits that would bring much laughter and much destruction over the course of his life. Our constant companion - he traveled everywhere with us and had to be touching a human at all times. He brought joy to strangers and friends alike with his adorable face - until the farts came and turned smiles to scowls. Thomas was big on personality - bigger than any dog I have ever met. That personality helped keep him in our good graces even when he was acting naughty - such as the time he famously ate my Chanel handbag to get to a tampon. We could only be mad for so long, as he would inevitably make us laugh moments later with his antics. We are devastated to share Thomas’ crossing of the Rainbow Bridge last night, just hours before his 12th birthday. 🚨LIFE UPDATE🚨 Who hasn’t dreamed of running away with the circus at one point in time? Somehow that dream became my reality when I joined @insomniacevents . Our band of misfits and dreamers pack up the trucks, drive into towns, set up the big top, and entertain the world. Creating these moments under the vision of @pasqualerotella and alongside the incredible talent at Insomniac, the vendors that make it all possible, the artists that grace our stages, and the Headliners that fill the air with their tangible energy, has fulfilled a lifelong dream. The past 7 years have been the highpoint of a long and wonderful career, and I still marvel at the magic of it all. And so it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to leave my life on the road for a new adventure. To all my fellow misfits - you have enriched my life beyond belief. This has been so much more than a job and you are all so much more than colleagues. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the person you have made me along the way - I am leaving here a much better version of myself. As long as you keep building these big tops, you will keep finding me on the dance floor beneath all of the lights. The first Insomniac festival I attended was @nocturnalwland in 2006 at the NOS. I never would have imagined 20 years ago that one day I would be a part of the team that gets to bring this magic to life. This edition was incredibly special to me - sending gratitude and love to everyone who was a part of it. What a beautiful week in Amsterdam plotting and planning for a busy year ahead. We far exceeded our step goal every day and still found time for play and shared meals. Thanks to my @insomniacevents crew for making the world a better place each and every day. by @amybeerup

39 years ago almost to the day I passed through Checkpoint Charlie into East Berlin under the watchful eyes of communist soldiers and their menacing machine guns. It was an eventful day that found me passed out from heatstroke on the ground in front of a soldier whose boot I just missed puking on as he goose stepped in front of me. This weekend was a bit different - Checkpoint Charlie is still here (although a replica), the wall is spread into pieces across the city of Berlin, and we celebrated freedom and art and music at @ravetheplanet - a far cry from 1987. The world lost a legend. P was an incredible force who raised 6 phenomenal humans and I am so fortunate to have grown up in their midst. Feeling incredibly thankful to have spent 24 hours surrounded by love and happy memories back home in La Grange. I love you @karolinewhittaker @katedrobs and the whole Drobny bunch. I came for work - we stayed for @harrystyles - but we got sooooo much more. Especially tacos. We got all of the tacos. Thank you CDMX for an incredible stay! (PS how freaking adorable is this circle of girls dancing and singing and crying together to Harry around a puddle so large it could be considered a pond?
