One of the quiet dreams growing alongside Selah has been EverFruit Academy.

A place for structured art classes in watercolor, drawing, sculpture and pastels for kindergartners through adults.

Thoughtful, approachable art instruction in a calm environment where people can genuinely grow their skills and enjoy creating again.

More details will be coming soon, but I’m excited to finally begin sharing this part of the vision too 🎨

I started Selah from a place of overwhelm.

Everything felt like a chore. Even church.

I felt disconnected. From God. From my relationships. From myself.

I desperately needed an intentional sacred space where I could go and be still before my Savior. Where I could meditate on Scripture and hear from the Holy Spirit. Where I could encounter holy rest.

I needed a space to gather and connect with other overwhelmed Christian women. Where we could form God-honoring relationships through shared experience.

I needed a space that engaged all five of my senses and where I could respond creatively to the Lord.

This. This is what Selah is all about. I hope you’ll consider joining us at our next gathering. You’ll be glad you did. by @amybrandco

#homeschooling was truly the best decision we ever could’ve made for our #specialneeds kiddo!

NO school is going to fight for your kid like you will!

Grief is a beast. And we all have seasons where we deal with anger and question God’s plan. What’s important is that we don’t stay stuck there. We keep taking steps toward Him, even when it hurts and even when we don’t want to.

Our brains were made with built-in mechanics to protect us. However, sometimes that system malfunctions and marks something that ISN’T a threat, as a threat. We need to do nervous system work to retrain our brain to react appropriately to the situation at hand, not to the past.
