Visited 5 states in 10 days and crossed several things of my life "to do" list. Impossible to fit it all into 20 slides, but I tried 💖 Spent some time traveling solo to cities and parts of the U.S. I had never seen. Met up with bestie @itsclaireluv for a magical pilgrimage to @dollywood and some silliness along the way 🦋 This trip was a good reminder to seek out the joy & beauty in the world. Earlier this summer I thrifted a light white jacket for $10 thinking it was in desperate need of a colorful makeover. When @nic__white randomly popped up in my feed (sometimes the algo is right!) I knew it was meant to be🌈 Nic hand dyed the rainbow jacket of my dreams!! Never underestimate the power of craft 💖

I have been busy knocking out projects on my summer sewing list, but just now getting around to sharing them. I made this dress with pink gingham fabric I got in Singapore last year and turned a thrifted vintage dresser runner into a collar. Had to add some soft bratty tulle to the lining 🌷 by @amycakesdd

I have a long list of summer sewing projects I have been working through including the @matchymatchysewingclub #playdateblouse pattern. The big collar is perfect for showing off @gentlethrills fly pins... But I think I need more!!

And of course I had to make a matching bonnet (covered with tiny plastic ants) using a vintage 1930s pattern from @evadresspatterns #memademay by @amycakesdd

This delicious wedding party dress I made last month for a wedding finally got her day in the sun🌷I found a roll of the perfect pink vintage taffeta fabric last summer and immediately dreamt up a dress that was part pierrot, part Edwardian, and a little bratty. Shirley Temple vibes. And naturally I had to make a matching bicorn hat! by @amycakesdd
