Today is our 30th anniversary. The kids know how much I cherish memories and gave me this beautiful gift of family pictures. We finally found a day where we would all be together, but the weather was threatening to ruin our fun. We pressed on, and AFTER the storm, the most beautiful rainbow appeared. We danced under it. My heart is still dancing under the goodness of God as I’m reflecting on the 30 years of “storms” that have threatened to dampen or damage the legacy of Kingdom family. Over and over, God would prove himself faithful. His promises (found in His Word) are always on time. I’m so grateful for the umbrellas of prayer and steady support our parents have been. I’m reflecting on the patience and compassion of God as Rob and I have stumbled and slowly learned (we are still learning) how to receive His perfect love, stand on His promises, wait on His timing and love/live like Jesus when it comes to our marriage, parenting our kids, and even now, as we upgrade to grandparents! 🥰🙌 When God speaks a word, it will come to pass. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came to give life to the FULL. May we all remain in the fullness of His love and faithfulness and watch His Kingdom come and will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven. 🌈 by @amydelp

One of the sweetest moments of September was this baby-shower. 🩵🪽She was told she would probably not be able to have children. But, that bad report was not the final word.
•
Baby Boy Brooks is Heaven-Sent - and a constant reminder to us to trust in God’s timing, His heart and His promises. 🙌
•
I know @hannahgracebrooks_ and @ebrooksi3 were so blessed by the love shown to them on this day. I was overwhelmed by all of the people who contributed to celebrating their story and this joy. We prayed that this would be an “on earth as it is in heaven” gathering, and I believe the presence of God touched everyone in some way that day. We all left “expectant” of what only He can do.
•
Our response to all of this is to shower the ‘Author of Life’ with every ounce of gratitude we have -> and to keep pointing others to the stories He writes. The waiting is worth-while. He hears our cries. He collects our tears. And then, somehow, He uses them to shower us with His goodness.
